Lavinia Stamps "Seeing is Believing" on a Brusho gel plate background

Back from the caravan and I couldn't get at my craft desk quick enough!

I've used a Brusho Gel Plate background from my stash, but I had made a note of the colours I had used to create it.  I used "Mulberry" Element Ink and three shades of Brusho paints:  Lemon, White and Purple.

Over the top of that, I used the Lavinia Stamps "Posy" stencil with and orange and dark pink/purple Archival Ink.

I used the following Lavinia Stamps:  Seeing is Believing, Sacred Spells, and Dandelions stamped in Versafine Clairn "Nocturne" black ink.

I used a white pastel pencil to add highlights to the background area and a white Signo pen to highlight the fairy and the dandelions.

Lavinia Stamps - Star Gazing Engagement Card

Friends of ours have recently got engaged, so I made this card for them using Lavinia Stamps.

I used a piece of Shenandoah patterned paper and enhanced it with Distress Oxide Inks in the shades of:  Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade and Abandoned Coral.

For all the stamping, I used Versafine Clair "Nocturne" ink. I stamped the "Star Gazing" couple, then masked off a circle and edged it in ink to create the sun.  I then stamped the "Dandelions".

I tore a piece of paper and used that to create the landscape that the couple are seated on, by dragging a blender across the torn edge.

I then stamped the "Lunar Buds", the "Meadow Grass" and the "Wild Vines".

Finally, I stamped the sentiment using stamps from a Spellbinders set (ref STP-002).  I used a gold shimmer Sakura Gelly Roll pen to add highlights to various areas.

Design Team make for "My Time To Craft Challenge Blog" #405 - "Fantasy"

It is time for a new challenge prompt on the "My Time To Craft Challenge Blog".  Challenge #405 theme is "Fantasy".  If you have a spare minute, please do pop over and take a look at the other fabulous makes by my fellow Design Team colleagues.

For my card, I started with Distress Oxides inks in the shades of :  Antique Linen, Picked Raspberry and Wilted Violet, spritzed with water on a glass mat and the swooshing the card through the colours to create the coloured background.

Using various shades of Versafine Clair Ink in the following shades:  Purple Delight, Fantasia and Monarch, I stamped the following Lavinia Stamp images:  "Dandelions", "Felicity" and "Flutterbies".

I used a white Posca Pen and a silver glitter Signo pen to add highlights to various areas.
