The 100 Day Project 2026 - Day 22



Today, is Day 22 of the 100 Day Project 2026.  A challenge where you spend a short time each day creating, using the mediums of your choice.  Mine is 4x4" card, using collage, stamps and stencils.

For my Day 22, I've used assorted patterned papers, some handmade, some painted and some bought.  I used the surround / frame from a die cut, with a piece of painted paper behind it,

Finally, I added a Dina Wakley bird from a collage paper pack and a Tim Holtz "Idea-ology" word sticker.

The Crafting Niche 52 Week Mini Art Card/Tag Challenge 2026:

This is a weekly challenge. I provide you with a prompt/theme each Sunday morning through out the year.  The challenge is very relaxed.  You can do as much or as little as you like.  You can create cards, tags, Artist Trading Cards (ATC's) or index cards, the choice is yours. You just go with what ever is in your head at the time.  You can stamp, get inky, use patterned papers, texture, embellish it is all down to you.

The prompt for Week 11 is "Songs / Rhymes".

I decided to create a tag, based on "Ten Green Bottles, Sitting On The Wall".  For the lower secion of this tag, I used three shades of Ranger Archival Inks, using Shadow Grey, Leaf Green and Orange Blossom colours of ink, through the Lavinia Stamps "Red Brick Stencil". I used "Sky Blue" Archival Ink for the sky area above the wall.

On a piece of white card, I used Versafine Clair "Rain Forest" to stamp the Papermania "Beer Bottle - PMA10124".  I then arranged them into position and once happy, glued them down.

I used the computer to type and print the words "Ten Green Bottles" the title for my tag.  It's a song my siblings and I would enjoy singing when we were young.  Finally, I used a 3B pencil, a black fine liner pen to add shadows.

The 100 Day Project 2026 - Day 21



Today, is Day 21 of the 100 Day Project 2026.  A challenge where you spend a short time each day creating, using the mediums of your choice.  Mine is 4x4" card, using collage, stamps and stencils.

For my Day 21, I used "Mermaid Lagoon" Distress Oxide Ink on the back of the Funky Fossil Designs "Large Polka Dots Stencil", spritzed the ink with water then lay it over the white card, using a piece of kitchen roll to capture any surplus ink that came through the circles.  Lifted the stencil, then blotted the card with the kitchen paper.

Once dry, I drew round a lid using a black fine liner pen, adding some dots on the line at intervals. I then drew round a smaller lid with the same pen, but added close lines across the surface of the circle.

Next, rummaging through my box of paper off-cuts, I found two circles.  On the larger, mid blue coloured one, I used Versaifine Clair ""Warm Breeze" to stamp the Funky Fossil Designs "Halftone Fragments" stamp..On the smaller circle, I used a white gel pen to add smal polka dots, then glued the discs into position.

Finally, I added the signature bird from a Dina Wakley collage paper set and a Tim Holtz "idea-ology" word sticker, saying "Cherish".

For my Day 20, I have used some plain coloured card and hand printed patterned paper for this collage, along with a swallow from a Dina Wakley collage paper set and a word sticker from a Tim Holtz "Idea-ology" set.

The 100 Day Project 2026 - Day 19



Today, is Day 19 of the 100 Day Project 2026.  A challenge where you spend a short time each day creating, using the mediums of your choice.  Mine is 4x4" card, using collage, stamps and stencils.

For my Day 19, I used a gel plate print for the base, with circle designs on it.  I then used the Funky Fossil Designs "Coffee Stains Stencil" with Versafine Clair "Blue Belle" ink to create the circles.

I cut some black broken circles from a Dina Wakley collage paper set and glued into position, going over the surface with a green pastel pencil to add a bit of colour.

I added some black fine liner marks around the circles and on the edges of the card, adding Dina Wakley swallow from a collage paper set and a couple of Tim Holtz Idea-ology word stickers.  Finally adding some dots of white Enamel Accents.

The 100 Day Project 2026 - Day 18



Today, is Day 18 of the 100 Day Project 2026.  A challenge where you spend a short time each day creating, using the mediums of your choice.  Mine is 4x4" card, using collage, stamps and stencils.

For my Day 18 I've used a piece of Dina Wakely collage paper for the image of "David", glued on to a piece of aqua coloured card.  I've used a piece of mid blue coloured patterned paper a fine liner black pen. a Tim Holtz "Idea-ology" word sticker, saying "forevermore" and a swallow from a Dina Wakley collage paper set.

Lavinia Stamps "Shadow" and "Shimmer" Pods Card


 

Today, I have had a play with a couple of the stamps from the recent release by Lavinia Stamps.

Using Versafine Clair "Acorn" brown ink, I stamped the new Lavinia "Shadow Pods" and the "Shimmer Pods".

In the background, I used two shades of Ranger Archival Inks, using Chrome Yellow and Sunflower colours through the Lavinia "Honeycomb" stencil. I then added some depth of colour to the bottom left hand corner by using "Fired Brick" Distress Oxide Ink.

I used Derwent Inktense pencils and a gold coloured gel pen to colour the pods and drew in some grass too.

Finally, using Versafine Clair "Acorn" brown ink, I stamped the sentiment, which is also by Lavinia Stamps and is part of their "Heartfelt Verse" stamp set.

The 100 Day Project 2026 - Day 17



Today, is Day 17 of the 100 Day Project 2026.  A challenge where you spend a short time each day creating, using the mediums of your choice.  Mine is 4x4" card, using collage, stamps and stencils.

For my Day 17, I used three shades of Distress Oxide Ink for the base colour, using  Salvaged Patina, Mermaid Lagoon and Bundled Sage shades of ink. I then used the Kate Crane grid stamp (Ref KC014) with Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink. I then used a black Posca Pen to add some paint splatters.

I cut some very thin strips of mid blue coloured patterned paper and glued them into position.

I then used a leaf from the Stampin' Up / Sizzix die set called "Secret Gardem Framelits"- 129372", once glued into position I added some pencil marks.

Finally, I fussy cut a Swallow from a Dina Wakley collage paper set and added a Tim Holtz "Idea-ology" word sticker, saying "All you need is love".

The 100 Day Project 2026 - Day 16

For my Day 16, I've kept it really clean and simple, using just three pieces of patterned paper, a word sticker from the Tim Holtz "idea-ology" sticker book and the swallow bird from a Dina Wakley collage paper set.

The 100 Day Project 2026 - Day 15



Today, is Day 15 of the 100 Day Project 2026.  A challenge where you spend a short time each day creating, using the mediums of your choice.  Mine is 4x4" card, using collage, stamps and stencils.

For my Day 15 make, I used a piece of Dina Wakley collage paper and mounted it on to an piece of aqua coloured card, then glued it onto the white base. 

I used "Tumbled Glass" Distress Oxide Ink through a section of the Funky Fossil Designs "Make your mark 2" stencil, then added a couple of circles and rectangles of patterned paper.

I stamped the word "Beautiful" which is part of a Siimon Says Stamps "Tiny Words" stamp set, using Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink.  Finally adding the signature swallow bird, part of a Dina Wakley collage paper set to the top corner.

The prompt for Week 10 is "Primary Colours".

I painted the base of my tag in DecoArt Americana "Primary Yellow" acrylic paint. Once dry, I lay the Tim Holtz / Stampers Anonymous "String Stencil - THS103" over the top of the tag and applied "Summertime" orange Versafine Clair ink through the stencil.

Next, I used two Visible Image stamps for the same flower, but different sizes.  The stamp sets I used are:  "Creative Chaos" and "Total Chaos", stamping the flowers in Versafine Clair "Rain Forest" dark green ink.  I then stamped the flower heads again on to white card and fussy cut the shapes.

I used a white Posca Pen to splatter across the surface of the tag.  I then used "Tulip Red" Versaifne Clair ink to stamp the circles, which are part of the Visible Image "Grunge Tones" stamp set.

I mounted the tag on to a blue coloured card to continue with the primary colours then glued the flower heads on to the tag, over the original stamped image.  Finally, I coloured some ot the red dots with a green Posca Pen.

The 100 Day Project 2026 - Day 14



Today is Day 14 of the 100 Day Project 2026.  A challenge where you spend a short time each day creating, using the mediums of your choice.  Mine is 4x4" card, using collage, stamps and stencils.

For my Day 14 make, I used the "Bokeh Builder Stencil" from Funky Fossil Designs to create the circles in the background, using two shades of Distress Oxide Inks.  I used "Tumbled Glass" and "Salvaged Patina" colours.

Next I used 'Warm Breeze" Versafine Clair ink through the Funky Fossil Designs "Swallows" stencil.

I cut three circles of Dina Wakley collage paper and glued those to the card,  Using a black fine liner pen, I drew round a lid to create the circle.  I then glued the Dina Wakley collage bird into position and added some dots with the fine liner pen to the circle.  Finally, adding a Tim Holtz "idea-ology" word sticker saying "and so the adventure begins".

For my Day 13, I used the "Circle Grid Stencil" by Funky Fossil Designs with "Salvaged Patina" and "Stormy Sky" Distress Oxide Inks.  I then used some patterned paper and a piece of Tim Holtz collage paper, along with the signature bird for this challenge from a Dina Wakley collage paper set.

For my Day 12, I've used pieces of patterned paper with bits of Tim Holtz and Dina Wakley collage papers, with small areas of stamping using Versafine Clair "Bali Blue" ink to stamp with the Funky Fossil Designs "Vintage Script" stamp.  

I've finished with splatters of black Posca Pen and a Tim Holtz "Idea-ology" word sticker.

The 100 Day Project 2026 - Day 11



Today is Day 11 of the 100 Day Project 2026.  A challenge where you spend a short time each day creating, using the mediums of your choice.  Mine is 4x4" card, using collage, stamps and stencils.

For my Day 11 I have used a selection of different papers along with a bird from Dina Wakley collage apers and a Tim Holtz "Idea-ology" word sticker.

Tracy Evans "One of a kind" Spring Card


 

A little play in the craft room, before the roofers start work.  I've used the Tracy Evans "Tweet - SS1 Stecil" in the background with "Sky Blue" Ranger Archival ink for the bird in the background.  I've then used a circle mask to create the spotlight area around the head of the bird, using Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink.

I used Versafine Clair "Nocturner" ink to stamp the large flower and Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink to stamp the smaller flower, both are part of the Tracy Evans "One of a kind - TE54" stamp set.  Then grounded the bird and flower using the torn edge of a piece of paper with Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink, adding tufts of grass using a black fine liner pen.

I used the word "Spring" from the Tracy Evans "Natural Beauty - TE31" stamp set, stamped in Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink.  Finally, I added dots to the bird using a Posca Pen.

For my Day 10, I've used small pieces of patterned papers, a couple of pieces of Dina Wakley collage papers and a Tim Holtz "Idea-ology" word sticker, along with some dashes of white Posca Pen and gold gel pen along with dots of Ranger Enamel Accents.

Tim Holtz "Mini Bouquet CMS269" tag



I fancied using coral pink colours today, so made this tag, Starting with a white tag, I covered the surface in two shades of Distress Oxide Inks, using "Saltwater Taffy" and "Picked Raspberry" shades of ink.

Throught the Tim HOltz / Stampers Anonymous "Gradient Square Layering Stencil - THS119"  I used "Tea Dye" Distress Oxide ink. I then used the pattern from the Tim Holtz "Moon Mask" with Versafine Clair "Acorn" brown ink round the edge of the tag. I used the same colour ink to stamp the script in the background, using the Tim Holtz / Stampers Anonymous "Entomology - CMS328" stamp set. I then used a white Posca Pen to add splatters,

I used "Portobello" Versafine Clair ink to stamp the background flowers and the three main flowers, all are part of the Tim Holtz / Stampers Anonymous "Mini Bouquet - CMS269" stamp set. I stamped the main flower heads and stems on to white card, colouring them with Derwent Inktense pencisls, applied with a paint brush.  Fussy cutting them, then sticking on to the tag. Finally I added a Tim Holtz "Idea-ology" word sticker saying "today is the day".

Today is Day 9 of the 100 Day Project 2026.  A challenge where you spend a short time each day creating, using the mediums of your choice.  Mine is 4x4" card, using collage, stamps and stencils.

For my Day 9, I've used three strips of patterned paper with graduated colour, stuck horizontally.  I have then fussy cut one of the face images from Dina Wakley collage papers and glued into postion.  I did the same with the bird.

I used a black fine liner pen to go around the edges of the patterned paper. Finally, adding a Tim Holtz "idea-ology" word sticker saying "Make today count".

The 100 Day Project 2026 - Day 8



Today is Day 8 of the 100 Day Project 2026.  A challenge where you spend a short time each day creating, using the mediums of your choice.  Mine is 4x4" card, using collage, stamps and stencils.

For my Day 8, I've used "Salvaged Patina" Distress Oxide Ink through a Funky Fossil Designs stencil called "Dotty Circles Background".  I have then cut a circle shape in patterned paper and glued it on to the card.  I used a fine liner black pen to scribble rings around the paper shape.

I then used the Funky Fossil Design stencil called "Make your mark 1" with "Black Soot" Distress Oxide ink, adding some black dots with a Posca Pen.

Finally, I cut a bird from a Dina Wakley collage paper and added a Tim Holtz "Idea-ology" word sticker saying "With brave wings she flies".

The prompt for Week 9 is "Handbags & Gladrags".

I used a plain tag for the base and tore strips of patterend paper from the Prima Marketing "Tea Thyme" 6x6 paper stack, inking the torn edges of the paper using "Bundled Sage" Distress Oxide ink, before sticking on to the tag.  I then inked the edges of the tag using "Brushed Cordroy" Distress Oxide Ink.

I used the Funky Fossil Designs "Vintage Script" stamp to finger stamp areas of script using Versafine Clair "Acorn" brown ink.

I found a suitable Tim Holtz "paperdoll" image and one of his frames and used these together with one of his word stickers.  I coloured the paperdoll image with Derwent Inktense Pencils. then inked the edges of the frame with Versafine Clair "Acorn" brown ink.

On the computer I typed the sentiment of "Dressed to impress" printed it out, cut it down and coloured it with shades of "Bundled Sage" and "Brushed Corduroy" to give it a vintage look.
