Penny Black 'You're a Treasure" Wedding Card

I've used a Penny Black wood mounted stamp called "You're a Treasure".  I stamped the image in Versafine "Stormy Gray" ink and coloured the image with a mix of Distress Oxide Inks and water colour pencils.

Once the image was dry, I die cut the heart shape around the hedgehogs and stamped the "Wedding Day" sentiment, again in "Stormy Gray" Versafine Ink.

For the background, I used a Crafters Companion "Scaninavian Christmas" embossing folder.  I brayered  "Tattered Lace" Distress Oxide Ink over the embossed detail.

Once dry, I cut the embossed detail into a square and mounted it onto grey coloured cardstock.  Using foam pads, i mounted the hedgehog/heart image on to the embossed background.

Funky Fossil Moroccan Mandala Stencil Wedding Card

I wanted to play with a new stencil from Funky Fossil Designs called "Moroccan Mandala".

I decided to use "Blueprint Sketch" Distress Oxide ink through the stencil to create the central coloured area.

I stamped the sentiment in Versafine Clair "Blue Belle" ink and then die cut two layers, using Spellbinders, Victorian Tags.  I've elevated the sentiment with foam pads.

Design Team Make - 5th October 2018 (Kraft Card) My Time To Craft Challenge #380

This is my make for the "My Time To Craft"  5th October 2018 challenge working to a prompt of "Kraft Card".

For my card, I have used a Kraft base.  I have die cut four decorative layers using a Spellbinders die set (I've had it for years, so I don't recall the name, sorry).  I positioned them some flat on the larger layer and others elevated with foam pads.

Before I stuck the smallest layer,  I used a stamp from the Stampin' Up set called "Petite Pairs" stamped in a sepia shade of Versafine Ink.

Finally, I die cut some foliage in green card and added it with the flowers to the top right hand corner of the card.

Spellbinders "Majestic Oval" Wedding Day Card

Follow my blog with Bloglovin Last week was emotional.  On the Monday we said goodbye to our gorgeous and loyal Springer Spaniel, Polly.  On Saturday we celebrated the marriage of our elder Son, Philip to his love Carly, with a small group of family.

The colour scheme I opted for ties in with that of the wedding party.  I started by embossing the coloured background using the Stampin' Up "Seaside" embossing folder.

Using my Big Shot, I die cut the central areas using Spellbinders "Majestic Ovals" nestabilities die set.  The corner scrolls were also die cut using the Spellbinders Sapphire "Fleurs and Flourishes" die set.  Finally, I stamped the sentiment in a matching shade of ink using Rubbadubbadoo stamps.

A Wedding Card (using Spellbinders dies)

For this wedding card, I have used patterned paper from the "Pretty Posy" 6x6" paper stack by Trimcraft (I think I purchased it from The Range).

The green cardstock I had in my stash, which I die cut using the Spellbinders die set called "Royal Circle".  The white ornate sentiment backing is also a Spellbinders die from thier "Jubilee Tags" set.  I finished the card with some pearls around the edge of the larger green die cut.

Wedding Cards (Three & Four)

Following on from my earlier post.  Here are cards three and four, made as samples for a neighbour to choose from.

The intricate background is cut using a Spellbinders lattice die (sorry I don't recall the name).  On top of that I have used a die from the Spellbinder set called "Majestic Oval".  ON top of that is another Spellbinders die cut from their set called "Renaissance Jubilee Tags", finished with some faux pearl and diamond embellishments.

I have used the Sweet Dixie (from Personal Impressions) intricate background die for this, topped with a Spellbinders die from their "Renaissance Jubilee" set.

Wedding Cards (One & Two)

A neighbour asked if I would make her a wedding card. I don't make cards for others as I feel under pressure.  I prefer to flit from one thing to another as I please.  So making several cards on a similar theme was hard going for me.

These are the two cards I made for the customer.

This silver and white card has a decorative background is a Sweet Dixie die from Personal Impressions (SDD217)

This dusky pink card has a Poppystamps heart lattice background (style no.985).  The central area is a Spellbinder die.
