Day 22 of the "24 Days of Tags 2021" with Karen Telfer

This is my Day 22 tag, with a prompt of "A little bit of everything", and I have certainly put lots on this tag. 

For the base of this tag, I have used the Tim Holtz "Gingham Layering Stencil - THS134" with Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Ink.

The snowman and the Christmas tree are both Card-io stamps, stamped in Versafine Calir inks and coloured with Posca Pens.

I've used a Cuttlebug embossing folder for the dry snowflake embossing.  I've used an Anna Griffin stamp for the Cherub, heat embossed using Wow! Rich Gold embossing powder and heat set.

I did cut the snowflakes, which were a Cuttlebug thinlet die... not seen the light of day for a couple of years at least!

I've used assorted other stamps I found in my stash.  For the sentiments, I used the Simon Says Stamp "Tiny Words - Christmas" stamp set with Versafine Clair "Shady Lane" green ink.  I think the string of lights embellishments are by Papermania/Docrafts.

Design Team Make - 21st September 2018 (Food and Drink) #380 My Time To Craft Challenge

The prompt for the 22nd September 2018 on the "My Time To Craft Challenge Blog" is "Food & Drink".  Please pop over and take a look at the other fabulous makes by the other Design Team members.  

For my card, I started off by stamping the floral wreath (Papermania Freshly Cut Flowers collection).  I then stamped the sentiment using a Stampin' Up set called "Floral Phrases" both stamped in Versafine Ink.

The champagne bottle and glasses was part of a stamp and die set in "Papercraft Essential magazine, Issue 6).  I stamped and hand cut each piece.

I used Promarkers the colouring of the wreath, the bottle and the champagne glasses, raising the bottle and one glass with foam pads for dimension.

Birthday Cup Cake Card

I made a quick birthday card using a cup cake stamp from a Papermania set called "Bunting".  The sentiments are part of a Art Impressions Girlfriends set called "Chocolate Therapy".  The small stars are by Lavinia Stamps.  I've coloured the cake cup topper using water colour pencils, using patterned paper for below the topper.

Midnight Meandering Rabbits Card

I decided to have a go at heat embossing.  I've done it in the past with mixed results so I was happy with the way the embossed dandelions came out.

I've created a background of Oxide Inks.  I then used the Lavinia Stamps "Midnight Meandering" stamped in Versafine Black Onyx ink.  

I used a Versamark ink pad on the Lavinia Stamps "Fairy Dandelions".  I then coated the area with Papermania "Superfine Silver" embossing powder.  Finally, I used a Signo pen to add lighter areas.

Hopeful Thoughts Sympathy Card

It seems that I'm going through sympathy cards at quite a rate this year.

I've used Stampin' Up "Hopeful thoughts" stamp for the flowers.  The sentiment is from a Papermania set called "Bunting" stamped in Versafine Ink.  I have added small iridescent self adhesive gems to the middle of the flowers.

Edited to add:  Huge apologies.  I've noticed that on this photograph there is a shadow at the base of the image.  It definitely isn't there in real life.  Sam

Seconds, Minutes, Hours Cards.

I made the background using Distress Inks through a stencil.  I've played with a new stamp to me, it's made by Papermania Urban Stamp, called "Chronology (looking glasses)".  The sentiment is from a Penny Black set called "sentiments".  Both are stamped in Black Onyx Versafine Ink.

Another Eclipse Card

This afternoon I have made another eclipse card with the name "Megan" across the middle.

I have used the Art Impressions "Giant Cake - U4386" stamp from their "Girlfriends" collection, coloured with Promarkers.  The sentiment is from a Papermania stamp set called "Tea Cups".

Snowy Forest & Deer Christmas Card

I've continued to play with the free stamps from the December issue of Crafts Beautiful magazine, making this card.

It has a background of grey and blue distress inks.  With a layer of die cut tree trunks and a snow drift placed over the top.

The deer is stamped in Versafine ink and cut out, with a dob of Stickles glue for the red nose.  The sentiment is from a Stampin' Up set called "Winter Memories".  I then added a little shadow using a water colour and some Papermania "Holographic" embossing powder to add a little shimmer to the snow areas.

Silver Anniversary Card

I made this card to celebrate the silver wedding anniversary of our friends.

I used an Apple Blossom "That Folder" embossing folder on black cardstock.  I used a Versamark ink pad on an Apple Blossom "Wavy Sentiment" stamp and then heat embossed using Papermania "Superfine Silver" embossing powder.

Using a die, I cut the bow with hearts in a silver glitter paper.  I finished the card, by adding some self adhesive silver coloured gems.

Tottering Teacups Tag

Sometimes when I craft, it doesn't matter what I try, it doesn't work.  Fortunately, these bad days do not occur often, but today is one of those days.

I have been asked to make a card for a specific occasion nd all my attempts ended in the bin.  I then decided to do something totally different and that too ended in the bin.  All I could rescue from my session was this little tag, which I've cut down and then down again for various reasons.  The stamps I've used on this tag are by Papermamia/docrafts.

I have now tidied my desk and will have am hour of reading instead.

A Valentine Decoupage Card

I visited my local craft store today and noticed in the reduced to clear bin a set of Docrafts/Papermania decoupage papers.  I've never really tried this so for the sake of £1 I thought I would give it a go.  So while watching the final of The Great British Bake Off on TV this evening, I was playing with small pieces of pictures.

Here's a close up of the layering:

A dark shade of cardstock which matched the hearts on the image was used for the background.  I inked the edges and added some foxing marks to give it a more aged appearance.  I then mounted everything on a stone coloured background.

I can't imagine that i'll do more decoupage, it isn't really for me, but I enjoyed playing with it all the same.
