Lavinia Stamps "Tree of Dreams" on a Brusho background

Today, in total contrast to the black and white card I made yesterday, I have used a background from my stash with a whole rainbow of colours courtesy of Brushos.

I used the Lavinia Stamps "Tree of dreams" stamp as the main focal point, stamped in Versafine Clair 'Nocturne" black ink.  While the ink was out, I stamped the sentiment "Once upon a dream" in the same ink.

I added a landscape and then foliage using "Purple Delight" and "Monarch" Versafine Clair Inks.  I used the following Lavinia Stamps fro the foliage area:

  • Berry Leaves
  • Spanish Moss
  • Foliage Set
  • Silhouette Grass
I added highlights of colour using Posca Pens, Gel Pens, Pastel Pencils and Liquid Pearls

Lavinia Stamps "Flower Fairy" Sunset Card

I watched a tutorial by Karen Telfer, where she created a card called "Moonlight Magic".  This is my take on her card.  I've opted for sunset rather than moonlight, as I seem to have made a lot of blue cards recently and fancied a change.

For the background colours, I have used the following Distress Oxide Inks:  Antique Linen, Dried Marigold, Ripe Persimmon and Squeezed Lemonade.

I've used the following Lavinia Stamps:  Bonnet Set, Flower Fairy, Spanish Moss Foliage and Wild Poppies stamped in Versafine Clair "Acorn" brown ink and "Tulip Red" ink

Lavinia Stamps "Whimsical Hare" Card

I made a very quick small card this morning, using a gelli plate off-cut from a previous project with all stamping in Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink.

I've used one of the beautiful Lavinia Stamps "Whimsical Hares" from the set, paired with Berry Leaves, Spanish Moss Foliage, Creeping Vine and Bullrushes.

Lavinia Stamps the Hare and the Fairy Hives

I had a play session, purely for the sake of wanting to play with some Lavinia Stamps, making this card.  It definitely has a flavour of some of my earlier Lavinia cards, but good to make all the same.

I used Distress Oxide Inks and the Lavinia Stamps "Feather Leaf" stencil to create the background colour and pattern.

I used a selection of Lavinia Stamps, including the "Tree Of Wisdom", "Skeleton Tree Scene" for the small trees, the "Fairy Hives" hanging from the tree, one of the hares from the "Whimsical Hares" set, "Fern Heads" and "Spanish Moss" for the growth in the foreground. All stamped in shades of Versafine Clair inks.

I added spots of colour to the tree and the foreground using Liquid Pearls in "Ruby Red", "White Opal" and "Periwinkle".  I also added touches of gold shimmer to the Hare, the Ferns and the Fairy Hives using a gold Sakura pen.

Day 21 - Karen Telfer's "24 Days Of Tags" Challenge - featuring Lavinia Stamps "Flower Fairy"

It's Day 21 of Karen Telfer's "24 Days of Tags" Challenge.  Today is a bright and cheery tag featuring Lavinia Stamps.

I spritzed a Lavinia Stamps "Feather Leaf" stencil with water, then lay the wet side down over the blended coloured background, blotting any surplus water.  I then lifted the stencil and blotted the tag.  I used my heat gun to fully dry the tag.

The background of this tag is made up of three Distress Oxide Inks:  Mowed Lawn, Mustard Seed and Picked Raspberry.

I then stamped the Lavinia "Flower Fairy" in Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink.  Using a moon mask, I created the circle edge in "Abandoned Coral" Distress Oxide Ink.

From the top of the tag, I multi stamped the Lavinia "Forest Spruce" in Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink.  I then stamped the "Creeping Vine" in Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink.

At the base of the tag, I stamped "Spanish Moss" in Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink and then inked the edges of the tag.

Finally, I added some flowers using "White Pearl" Liquid Pearls and set aside to dry,

Day 19 of Karen Telfer's "24 Days Of Tags" Challenge (Lavinia Stamps Pheasant)

This is my Day 19 Tag of Karen Telfer's "24 Days Of Tags" Challenge.

I've used diluted Brusho paint (White, Lemon and Purple) on a gelli plate brayered using Lavinia Stamps "Mulberry" Elements Ink to create the background.

I've used three Lavinia Stamps:  Pheasant, Spanish Moss and their Twisted Vine Set, stamped in Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink.  I've used a white ink around the edges to give a more misty look to the tag.

Lavinia Stamps "Rue" Birthday Card

This morning I have been in Lavinia mode, making this birthday card.  It has lots of sparkle, which unfortunately the photograph doesn't really pick up very well, so I've made a little video clip of it too.

To start this card, I used "Picked Raspberry" and "Seedless Preserve" Distress Oxide inks through a Lavinia Stamps stencil, called "Pods".  Making it darker at the base and fading out at the top.

I repeat stamped Lavinia "Words of Spring" stamped in Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink around the edges.  I deliberately made it light, by second generation stamping, as I didn't want it to be too bold, wanting it to remain in the background, but filling a space all the same.

I used Versafine Clair "Charming Pink" ink to stamp the Lavinia "Luna Lights" suspended from the top of the card.

Next I stamped the Lavinina fairy called "Rue" and the "Spanish Moss" dangling from the top of the card, in Versafine Clair "Purple Delight".  Using the same ink, I stamped the Lavinia "Vine" at the bottom left of the card.

The sentiment is also stamped in "Purple Delight" and is part of a Personal Impressions stamp set called "Double Sayings".

I then moved on to adding extra detail using a white and a silver glitter Signo Pen and a gold Sakura gel pen.  I used assorted shades of liquid pearls and added some "Crystal" stickles for extra glitter.

Book Mark using Lavinia Stamps "Rue"

I'm an avid reader.  Although most of the books I read are ebooks, sometimes I do read a "real" book.  There rarely seems to be a bookmark close to hand, so I made one instead.

I've used a Brusho Background.  I stamped the Lavinia Stamps "Rue" and added extra foliage using their "Spanish Moss" both stamped in Versafine "Black Onyx".  I added silver dots, using a Signo pen, as if dust motes have been disturbed by Rue swinging on the foliage.

Magical Fairy Wish Card (Lavinia Stamps)

This evening I have again been playing with Lavinia Stamps.

I started with a background of various Distress Oxide colours in really subtle shades that almost look like marbelling.

I then stamped the Lavinia "Sacred Spells" stamped in a Versafine "Smokey Grey" shade.  I then stamped the image of the figure, which is a Lavinia Stamp called "Make A Wish", which I stamped in Versafine Black Onyx shade.

Finally, I added some trailing foliage using one of the recently released stamp called "Spanish Moss Foliage" (stamped in Versafine "Smokey Grey" shade.  I added some touches of shimmer to the card using a Sakura jelly roll pen.

(I'm not sure who made the sentiment as I purchased it along with some other second hand stamps).
