Funky Fossil Designs "Spellbound" New Stamp Set Preview

Today, I can share with you another new stamp set from Funky Fossil Designs, it's called "Spellbound" and is designed for Funky Fossil by Charlotte Blackwood.  "Spellbound" will be available to purchase from the Funky Fossil site this Friday, 14th January 2022.

Here are a couple of sampled I have made using "Spellbound".  The top card was made using a background I had made on the gel plate. I then used the Funky Fossil "Sunray Stencil" and their "Falling Stars Stencil".

For my second sample, the bookmark, I multiple stamped the book image and then coloured it with Inktense colouring pencils.

Lavinia Stamps "Floral Wreath" Bookmark

I've been away in the caravan this past week, so there's been no crafting.  Instead lovely long autumnal walks.  Enjoying, the sometimes bracing weather with fresh air and mud!  We came home yesterday and the washing machine has been very busy since.

Last night I had the urge to craft, so made myself a book mark using Lavinia Stamps.  I used the new Lavinia "Floral Wreath" stamped in two shades of Versafine Clair ink.  "Morning Mist for the lighter colour and "Medieval Blue" for the darker colour, I also used this shade to ink the edges.

To colour the garland, I used one of the new Lavinia Element inks called "Blue Lagoon", diluted with water and applied with a brush.

I used the Lavinia Stamps sentiment called "Once upon a dream" for the words, stamped in Versafine Clair, "Medieval Blue" ink. I coated some of the berries with Ranger "Glossy Accents" and left to dry over night.

I then used a Stix2 PVC Bookmark sleeve to protect the art work, while in use.

Book Mark using Lavinia Stamps "Rue"

I'm an avid reader.  Although most of the books I read are ebooks, sometimes I do read a "real" book.  There rarely seems to be a bookmark close to hand, so I made one instead.

I've used a Brusho Background.  I stamped the Lavinia Stamps "Rue" and added extra foliage using their "Spanish Moss" both stamped in Versafine "Black Onyx".  I added silver dots, using a Signo pen, as if dust motes have been disturbed by Rue swinging on the foliage.
