Funky Fossil Designs "Scribble Owl" Card

Today, I have played with one of the Funky Fossil Designs scribble stamps designed my Mo's Art Uk, to create this card.

I used a background from my stash that I had made several months ago, using Pan Pastels through the Funky Fossil "Forest Foliage" stencil on a gel plate.

I stamped the Funky Fossil "Scribble Owl" using Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink, immediatedly covering the stamped area in Wow! Clear Gloss Embossing Powder and then heat set.

On a black piece of card, I used the Funky Fossil "Forest Foliage Stencil" with Wow! Clear embossing ink and the Wow! Clear Gloss Embossing Powder and heat set.

Returning to the owl image, I coloured some of the body using Derwent Inktense water colour pencils.  I also added touches of white to the eyes using a white gel pen.  I squared off the stamped image, mounting it on to the black heat embossed background, then squared the area off again, before mounting it on to a white card blank.

Funky Fossil "Lotus Reflections" Card

I received my delivery of the new Funky Fossil stamps today, and got crafting immediately.  I had already routed through my gel plate/ pan pastel backgrounds and put aside a couple of backgrounds that I thought would suit the new "Lotus Reflections" stamp set.

I stamped the main image and sentiment in Wow! Clear Embossing Ink and then covered both with Wow! Rich Gold Super Fine Embossing Powder and heat set.

At the same time, I stamped the individual lotus flower on to a small off-cut of a purple background I had saved and heat embossed in the same gold powder, I then cut out the flower and adhered into position.

Because some of the background design was quite faint I went over some of the background area with the "Forest Foliage" and "Distressed Diamonds" stencils with "Blueprint Sketch" Distress Oxide Ink.

I edged the gel plate background with a metallic gold pen line and then added some gold dots to the background, before mounting on to purple card.

Gelli Plate & Pan Pastel "Enjoy The Little Things" Card

It feels like I have not crafted for ages, I've just not been in the mood for it.  But I couldn't sleep last night and got up when it was still dark and had a play making this card.

I used a background I'd made a while back using a gelli plate with Pan Pastels and three Funky Fossil stencils (Distressed Diamonds, Forest Foliage and Peony Panel).

I used the Funky Fossil "In The Meadow" stamp set.  The sentiment and the right hand side is stamped in Versafine Clair "Nocturne" ink and then heat embossed with Wow! Clear embossing powder.

I then decided to stamp and heat emboss the same flower in clear embossing powder.  This doesn't show up on the still photograph, but you can see it on the video above.

I added splashes of white and black Posca Pen paint and inked the edges of the card before mounting the image on black and then white card.

Funky Fossil - Butterfly Wishes (gelli plate background)

A few days ago, you may recall that I had a session making backgrounds using a gelli plate.  Today  have made one of the backgrounds into a finished item.

I used this background as the base for the finished card. I used the Funky Fossil "Forest Foliage", "Distressed Diamonds" and "Peony Panel" with Pan Pastels and acrylic paint to lift the image.

I started by stamping using Versafine Claire "Blue Belle" ink to stamp the whole butterfly and two sections of the butterfly on to the background.  I then stamped three butterflies on to plain white card.  Using the same ink, I stamped the "Butterfly Wishes" at the bottom right of the card.  The butterfly and the sentiment are both part of the Funky Fossil "Butterfly Wishes" stamp set.

Using the butterflies on the white background, I used "Carved Pumpkin" Distress Oxide Ink to blend the colour over the stamped image.  I then used Posca Pens to colour and then fussy cut the image and adhered onto the background.

I used a white and a dark blue Posca Pen to add splatters of colour across the piece.

#thedailymarker30day colouring challenge - Day 12 using Funky Fossil Butterfly Wishes stamp set

It is Day 12 of #thedailymarker30day colouring challenge.

I've used the Funky Fossil Designs  "Butterfly Wishes" clear stamp set for the butterfly and the sentiment.  Heat embossed using Wow! Clear embossing pad and gold embossing powder.  I painted the butterfly using Prima Confections Tropical water colour paints.

I then used the Funky Fossil "Forest Foliage" stencil with "Peacock Feather" Distress Oxide Inks.  Over the top of that background I used another Funky Fossil stencil called "Micro Dots" with "Chipped Sapphire" Distress Oxide Inks.
