This is my Artist Trading Card (ATC) for the day. I've gone for a very clean, clear and simple look with this one.
Using "Peacock Feathers" Distress Oxide Ink, I painted a line acorss the card, just below centre, I then used the same ink, diluted to lesser strengths to graduate the colour, almost back to white at the base.
I used Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink to stamp the butterfly, wild flowers and sentiment. All are part of the Tracy Evans Boutique Designs "On The Wild Side - TE50" stamp set. I then added painted colour to the butterfly using "Prize Ribbon" Distres Oxide Ink. Finally adding some black dots by the butterfly.
I love the simplicity and the beautiful blue colour tones on this one Sam, and the added flowers at the bottom and the wonderful butterfly, and the finishing touches with the bits of white on the flowers and the black dots beneath the butterfly and the single word all work perfectly. x
