For the floral background of this card, I have used the Tracy Evans Boutique Designs 6x6" Wildflower Stencil with four shades of Ranger Archival Inks. The colours of inks I used for the flowers are: Chrome Yellow, Sunflower, Tea Rose and Tiger Lily.
Moving on to the stamping, using the Tracy Evans "Love Grows Here - TE65" stamp set, used Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink to stamp the feather. I then used Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink to stamp the birds and the sentiment.
Finally, I added some shading using a pastel pencil and added white dots to the background frame area using a Posca Pen.
The orange and yellow tones of the stencilled flowers are a pretty backdrop for the two sweet little birds perched on the feather, and some lovely words beneath too. I love the pastel pencil used for the background and finished perfectly with the white Posca Pen dots. A beautiful card Sam. x
