Stampers Anonymous "Cat and Balloon" - THMM109 Artist Trading Card

This is my Artist Trading Card (ATC) for the day.  I used a piece of pink card for the base then lay the Tim Holtz / Stampers Anonymous stencil THMM108 over the top and applied "Vibrant Fuschia" Ranger Archival Ink through the stencil.  I then used a red fine liner pen to add circles within the darker dots.

On a piece of white card, I stamped the cat and the balloon, which are part of the Tim Holts / Stampers Anonymous s"tencila and stamp set - THMM109", using Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink. I then splattered the ink from a white Posca Pen across the surface of the card.

I coloured the cat by painting "Carved Pumpkin" Distress Oxide Ink and a red Posca Pen for the bow tie.  I used "Lucky Clover" Distress Oxide Ink for the ballloon, adding gold cooured dots with a gel pen.  I fussy cut both shapes.

Finally, using Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink, I stamped the "Hello Friend" sentiment, the stamp is part of the same stamp set I mentioned earlier.  I drrew a black line around the card, like a frame using a black fine liner pen, then glued the fussy cut cat and balloon onto the vcard, I then drew in the string for the balloon.

Funky Fossil Designs "Scribble Hare" Birthday Card

For this card, I used several Distress Oxide Inks for create the background colour.  The shades of ink I used are: Carved Pumpkin, Worn Lipstick, Squeezed Lemonade and Picked Raspberry.

I used Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink to stamp the hare, which is a Funky Fossil Designs stamp called "Scribble Hare". I then inked the edges of the card using Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink, dragging the edge of the ink pad across the edge of the card for more detail.

I used "Abandoned Coral" Distress Oxide Ink through a Tim Holtz / Stampers Anonymous stencil, called "Sparkle Layering Stencil - THS132".

I then stamped the "Big Birthday Wishes" greeting which is part of the Funky Fossil Designs "Stripped Back Sentiments" stamp set, using Versafine Clair "Nocturne' black ink. Finally, I used a gold coloured gel pen to draw around the square and add small polka dots across the surface of the card.

The Crafting Niche 52 Week Mini Art Card/Tag Challenge 2026:

This is a weekly challenge. You just go with what ever is in your head at the time.  You can stamp, get inky, use patterned papers, texture, embellish it is all down to you.

There is a dedicated private Facebook Group, with a lovely bunch of people who are already sharing their makes from previous challenges.  You can find the group by clicking this link.  I'd love you to join in.

The prompt for Week 10 is "Primary Colours".

I painted the base of my tag in DecoArt Americana "Primary Yellow" acrylic paint. Once dry, I lay the Tim Holtz / Stampers Anonymous "String Stencil - THS103" over the top of the tag and applied "Summertime" orange Versafine Clair ink through the stencil.

Next, I used two Visible Image stamps for the same flower, but different sizes.  The stamp sets I used are:  "Creative Chaos" and "Total Chaos", stamping the flowers in Versafine Clair "Rain Forest" dark green ink.  I then stamped the flower heads again on to white card and fussy cut the shapes.

I used a white Posca Pen to splatter across the surface of the tag.  I then used "Tulip Red" Versaifne Clair ink to stamp the circles, which are part of the Visible Image "Grunge Tones" stamp set.

I mounted the tag on to a blue coloured card to continue with the primary colours then glued the flower heads on to the tag, over the original stamped image.  Finally, I coloured some ot the red dots with a green Posca Pen.

I then used "Pixie Green" Element Inks through the lower dotty section of the Tim Holtz / Stampers Anonymous "Christmas Stamp and stencil set - THM178", just around the edge of the decorative stencilled area.

Using "Pixie Green" Element Ink I stamped then holly, which is part of "The Holly & the Ivy - CS137D" stamp set by Hobby Art Stamps.  I coloured the holly using a paint brush to apply "Rustic Wilderness" Distress Oxide Ink.  I used a red Posca Pen for the berries coating them in Ranger Glossy Accents, to achieve a more 3D look to the tag.  Finally, I added touches of gold to the holly using a gold gel pen.

Karen Telfer's "12 Days of Christmas Tags 2025" - Day 9

This is my Day 9 tag of Karen Telfer's "12 Days of Christmas Tags 2025" series.  If you would like to see Karen's tutorial, click on this link.

How quickly these tag days are passing, The end is in sight already.  I really do love making them!

For this tag I printed a stencil pattern using Brusho paint granules.  Sprinkling the lemon and leaf green granules on top of a stencil (I used the Tim Holtz / Stampers Anonymous Flourish - THS032 stencil), spritzing it and then taking an impression of the pattern, remembering to blot.  I managed to get three tags from the one stencil session.  The one I've used above is the darkest, with each one gradually getting lighter.

Once the tag was dry, I used Versaifne Clair "Twilight" dark blue ink with the "Christmas" stamp, which is part of the Visible Image Stamps "Classic Christmas" stamp set. Finally using a gold coloured gel pen to add gold spots in the white space.

Karen Telfer's "12 Days of Christmas Tags 2025" - Day 7

Yey! I'm now up to date with Karen Telfer's "12 Days of Christmas Tags 2025".  This is my Day 7 tag.  Here's Karen's tutorial if you fancy having a go yourself.

For the base colour of my tag, I used several shades of green Distress Oxide inks.  I then spritzed one side of the Tim Holtz / Stampers Anonymous "Tiny Poinsettia - THS163- " stencil and placed the wet side down on to the tag.  I lay a piece of kitchen roll over the top, of the stencil to absorb the surplus water then lifted the stencil and set aside to dry.

I used a couple of off-cuts of white card for the holly leaves.  On one, I applied Distress Oxide Ink through the Tim Holtz / Stampers Anonymous "Xmas Stencil Set - THMM178" for the polka dots.  The other stencil I used for the holly was the Tim Holtz / Stampers Anonymous  "Bubbles Layering Stencil - THS138".  I then cut the stencilled pieces into a holly shape and glued into position.  I added some red floristry berries and tied a piece of Baker's twine in a bow shape.

Finally, I used Versafine Clair "Twilight" dark blue ink to stamp the sentiment, which is part of the Funky Fossil Designs stamp set called "Stripped Back Christmas Sentiments".

The prompt for Week 47 is "Thankful"

For this tag, for the base I used a piece of patterned paper from my stash. I then stamped the leaf in Versafine Clair "Pinecone" brown ink.  The stamp is part of the Tim Holtz / Stampers Anonymous stamp set called "Pressed Foliage - CMS376". I coloured the leaf using two shades of Derwent Inktense pencils.  The colours I used are: Hooker's Fern and Lime Green.

I then used the Tim Holtz / Stampers Anonymouse "THMM101 stencil" for the circles using "Peony Pink" Ranger Archival Ink.  There must have been a bit of black left on the stencil from a previous project so the colour is darker, which I actually quite like.

Next, I inked the edges of the tag using Versafine Clair "Rain Forest" green ink.  I used the same ink to stamp the "Thank You" sentiment, which is part of the Waffle Flower "Essential Sentiments" stamp set.  Finally, I added some touches of gold across the the tag using a gold coloured gel pen.

52 Week Mini Art Card / Tag Challenge 2025 - Week 42

The Crafting Niche 52 Week Mini Art Card/Tag Challenge 2025:

The prompt for Week 42 "Stripes"

I started with a white tag and roughly laid down two colours of Distress Oxide ink with a blending brush.  The colours I used were "Squeezed Lemonade" and "Abandoned Coral. Once the surface was covered, I used a fan shaped brush with water on to splatter droplets across the surface of the tag.  I then blotted with a piece kitchen roll and then ran the heat gun over the surface to be sure it was fully dry.

I then used more "Abandoned Coral" Distress Oxide ink with the Tim Holtz / Stampers Anonymous THS004 String Stencil and THMM101 a dotty stencil.  Next, I added some yellow stars using the "Squeezed Lemonade" Distress Oxide Ink with the Tim Holtz / Stampers Anonymous "Sparkle" layering stencil.

I used Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink to stamp the pram/stroller, which is part of the Tim Holtz / Stampers Anonymous "Mini Blueprints CMS231" stamp set.  I stamped it again on an off cut of card, fussy cut the main body of the pram and stuck on to the tag, I felt this broke the colour up.

Karen Telfer's "12 Days of Christmas Tags 2024" - Day 8

On the run up to each Christmas, I usually take part in Karen Telfer's Christmas Tag challenge.  Because we were living in the caravan and I didn't have my craft supplies, I wasn't able to take part in 2024.  Now my craft room is set up, I thought I had better get cracking on the tags.  For 2024, Karen was doing 12 tags rather than 24 as she had a busy work schedule.

This is my Day 8 Tag (You can watch Karen's tutorial here).

I have loosely followed Karen's tutorial for this tag, leaving out the small tags hanging from the top.

I have used "Saltwater Taffy" and "Weathered Wood" Distress Oxide Inks with the Tim Holtz / Stampers Anonymous THS084 "Mosaic" stencil.

In my stash, I had a couple of flower dies, which I'm not sure where they came from, but used them with white card and stuck on to the tag.

I used Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink to stamp the Simon Says Stamp "Tiny Words - Christmas" sentiment, then placed an arc of white dots using Ranger Enamel Accents.

Deep Red "Drum Set (SKU 3X404216) Card

Looking round my craft room, I knew I wanted to create, but had no idea what.  I decided the first stamp that I see on my shelf I would use.  It happened to be this little Deep Red cling stamp called "Drum Set (SKU 3X404216), which I paired with a couple of tim Holtz / Stampers Anonymous layering stencils.

I stamped the drum set and the Simon Says Stamp "Tiny Words" sentiment in Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink.

The two Tim Holtz / Stampers Anonymous stencils I used were THMM178 which was part of a Christmas stamp and stencil set and THS103 "String Layering Stencil" which I used with two shades of Ranger Archival Inks "Sky Blue" for the string layering stencil and "Peat Moss" through the dots section of the Christmas stencil.

I painted the drum set using different shades of Distress Oxide Inks, adding some pencil and black fine liner pen for the shadows.

Tim Holtz / Stampers Anonymous Stencil Play Tag

I really enjoyed playing with my Tim Holtz / Stampers Anonymous stencils yesterday, so I decided to have another play this morning, making this Christmas gift tag.

I started with a cream coloured tag as the base,  Using a blending brush I added random colour using "Orange Blossom" Archival Ink.  I then used the same ink through the Tim Holtz / Stampers Anonymous "Flourish Layering Stencil".

In the areas where there was less pattern, I use "Coffee" Archival Ink through the Tim Holtz / Stampers Anonymous "Chevron Shifter Layering Stencil".

I then moved on to the third stencil, using "Red Geranium" Archival Ink through the Tim Holtz / Stampers Anonymous "Tiny Poinsettia Stencil" leaving some of the flourish in sight.

In the middle of the tag, I used Versafine Clair "Chianti" dark red ink to stamp the seniment, which is part of the Tim Holtz / Stampers Anonymous cling stamp set called "Cozy Christmas CMS444".

I inked the edges of the tag using "Red Geranium" Archival Ink and then stuck the tag on to a deep red piece of card and cut to size.  Around the edge of the coloured area I used a gold sparkle pen -after all, it's always good to sparkle a little at Christmas!

Finally, I added gold gel pen dots to the middle of the flowers and added some dots across the surface of the tag too, before threading the tag with gold coloured ribbon.
