Get Well Card (using WOW! clear stamp)

After using the kraft card earlier today, I felt the need for colour, making this get well card, which was a really quick make.

I used Versafine Clair "Nocturne" ink to stamp the WOW! "Blossom" clear stamp floral image.

I coloured the daisies using a white Signo pen and some of the other flowers using silver and gold Sakura Gelly Roll glitter pens (unfortunately the photo doesn't really pick this out).

The sentiment was printed out then die cut.

Spellbinders Filigree Pocket - Get Well Soon Card

I see a lot of craft items, many I am happy to pass me by, but the new Spellbinders Shadow Boxes and Filigree Pocket was something that I thought I could get plenty of use from.  I ordered them from Hope and Chances, an on-line store that specialises in all things Spellbinders and has fab customer service too.

These goodies arrived yesterday, but I didn't get a chance to play with them.  Today, I needed to make a "Get Well Card" so decided to have a play, although, I've not used the filigree panel for the correct use, but I think it's worked pretty well.

I also used another Spellbinder product for the area around the sentiment "Jubilee Tags" which I thought worked well with the filigree panels.

Get Well Card

For this card, I brayered Distress Oxides onto the card at a diagonal angle.  I then used a wood mounted stamp that I've had years and maybe used a couple of times previously to stamp the foliage and butterfly background (Stamps Happen Inc "Butterfly Square #90336) in sepia coloured Versafine ink.

Using a Crafty Individuals stamp (CI - 495) I stamped the foliage and bird image in a black onyx Versafine ink.  Finally, I used a Stampin' Up stamp from their "Petite Pairs" set for the sentiment, again stamped in Versafine Ink.

Get Well Card

A friend has been in pain for some time and is having an operation next week to correct the problem, so I made her a quick "Get Well" card.

I have used the Stampin' Up "Sunburst Thinlit" to create the sun rays and "Swirly Scribbles" for the green wreath. The patterned paper came free with a magazine.  I used a punch to cut the orange flowers.  The sentiment is stamped using a Stampin' Up stamp from their "Hopeful Thoughts" set.

Dandelion Get Well Wishes Card

I was inspired by something I saw on Pinterest to make this card.  Unfortunately, I'm not able to find the source to credit them.

I started by splattering five different colours of Tim Holtz Distress Inks across the surface of  white card.  I used a dandelion die to cut the image from the white splattered card, then mounted it on a coral colour.  I then cut a dandelion head in the same coral coloured card and mounted it to the bottom right hand corner.

I used a Papertrey Ink stamp from their "Fillable Frames" set for the sentiment.  Then die cut it into a circle shape, mounting it on top of the dandelion with foam pads to add a little dimension.

I thought the centre of the dandelion was a little bare, so I added a die cut spiral of the same coral coloured card for added interest.

Get Well Soon Card

For the background of this card, I used a leaf stamp from Oak House Studio stamping in two shades of green.

The sentiment is by Spellbinders from thier "Jubilee Tags" set.

Get Well Soon (Paisley & Posies) Card

I made this card using a Memento Ink Pad in "Paris Dusk" shade stamped using the Stampin' Up Paisleys & Posies" stamp set to create the patterned background.  The sentiment was made using a Spellbinder "Jubilee Tags" die set.
