When you can't sleep craft... that was me last night, so I got up and made an Artist Trading Card (ATC).
I actually used two pieces of card, a yellow piece for the base and then another in dark green with a punched edge like it had come from a small note book, layered over the top.
Using yellow card, I die cut three flowers using the Spellbinders "Blooms One - S2-044" die set. I glued the three flowers on to the ATC then using a white Posca Pen added white dots on the green background, so break up the solid colour. I used a birhgt orange coloured Posca Pen to decorate the die cut flowers, finally adding a Tim Holtz "Idea-ology" word sticker saying "be awesome today".
The white dots look great over the dark background and I love the yellow showing through with the notebook edge and the coordinating flowers with the added orange penwork are so pretty Sam. The flowers remind me of osteospermums in shape as there are some that have spoon shaped petals. x
