I've been away in Tenerife, enjoying some winter sun, which was very much needed. At long last I have shaken off the awful cough and pneumonia, which I am very glad about.
While we were away, Lavinia Stamps released a new collection. I ordered it and it arrived yesterday, just in time for me to play.
I used Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink to stamp the new Lavinia "Snail House", "Thistlecap Mushrooms" and a word from their "Words from the heart" stamp set.
I coloured the image using various colours of Derwent Inktense Pencils using a paint brush to apply the colour. I added dots of orange, yellow and red Posca Pens for the tiny flower heads and a white gel pen for highlights to various areas of the image.
In the background, I have used the Lavinia Stamps "Waffle" stencil with "Sky Blue" coloured Ranger Archival Ink.
What a lovely lot of Lavinia stamps to get and start playing with Sam and love that cute little snail house and mushrooms over the waffle stencil using a pretty blue. So pleased that you had a good time in Tenerife and managed to get rid of the remains of your cough and pneumonia, obviously just what you needed. x
