Funky Fossil Designs "Prehistoric" Grunge Card

The past few weeks I've been in Lavinia and Penny Black mode.  This afternoon, I felt an urge to play with my Funky Fossil Designs goodies, creating this card. 

In my stash of previously made backgrounds, I found a page from an accountancy book which I had used to mop up Distress Oxide Inks from my glass mat, so I decided to use this for the base. All stamping is in various shades of Versafine Clair Inks.

For the central image, I used the Funky Fossil "Prehistoric" stamp set.  

Around the edge of the central image I used a Funky Fossil stencil called "Abstract Pattern" with a brown Distress Ink.

I then used two of the Funky Fossil A7 stamps in the corners "Grungy" and "Inky Grid".

Finally, using a white Derwent Inktense pencil, I lightened the central stamped image.  I used white and red Posca Pens to add splatters across the surface too.

Funky Fossil "Plant a Garden" Father's Day Card

Father's Day is just around the corner, so I decided to create a card suitable for the occasion, even though I actually don't need to these days - it's the 20th June here in the UK.

I've made this card using the Funky Fossil Designs "Plant a garden" stamp set, which I have paired with two of their new A7 stamps (Grungy and Vintage Script) over their "Tropical Leaves" stencilled background.

I've used Distress Oxide Inks for the colouring and Versafine Clair inks for the stamping.

Funky Fossil Designs new "A7 Stamp Sets" preview 2

Funky Fossil Designs are releasing six fabulous new A7 stamp sets tomorrow, Friday 4th June, 2021.

For my sample, I have used the new "A7 Grungy" stamp in the background, stamped in Versafine Clair "Chianti" dark red ink.

I've used one of the new Funky Fossil stencils called "Woodcut Flowers" designed by Zinski Art with red stencil paste.  Once dry, I have then used a yellow Posca Pen to add extra details to the flowers.  Finally topping the card off with a "coffee" die cut.
