Back in the craft room this morning making this card. I used several colours of Ranger Archival Inks through the Tracy Evans "Frames SS24 Stencil. The colours of inks I used are: Sky Blue, Sea Glass, Sun Dazed, Peachy Keen and Magenta Hue.
Using Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink, I stamped the flower over the stencilling. The flower is part of the Tracy Evans "New Beginnings TE4" stamp set. I then stamped the flower again on a piece of white card and fussy cut it.
I used Versafine Clair "Shady Lane" green ink to stamp the ferns which are part of the Tracy Evans "Ferns TE3" stamp set. I used a 2B pencil and a paper stub to add shading below the flower. I then glued the white fussy cut flower into position on the card and added pencil shading to that too.
Next, I used "Shadow Grey" Ranger Archival Ink through the Tracy Evans "Garden Text ST8 stencil. positioning the stencil so the writing ran vertically. Finally, I added some black dots around the flower using a Posca Pen.
You have so many lovely Tracy Evans sets of stamps and stencils Sam and you have used them together beautifully here with the frames stencilled in different colours and the edges ink blended with the pink to make a background for the pretty flower and ferns, and the cut out white flower head added over the stamped one beneath with that bit of pencil shading really pops against the background...a wonderful card. x
