Funky Fossil New Stamp Set "Engine Room" Preview

Hi, I'm excited to share with you another brand new stamp set from Funky Fossil Designs, this one is totally different from all previous stamp sets by Funky Fossil and is called "Engine Room".

"Engine Room Stamp Set" will be released with a selection of other new stamp sets, dies, papers and washi tape, this Friday 26th February 2021.

For this sample, I have used a sheet of the new Funky Fossil "Patina Patterned Paper" for the background.

I distressed it a little, by sanding areas, adding a little bit of copper foil and adding white and gold splatters to it using Posca Pens.

On a piece of cream coloured card, I stamped the engine image in Wow! Clear embossing ink, coated it with Wow! Rich Gold embossing powder and heat set.  I then gave it a blush coloured background with Distress Oxide Inks. I used a metallic gold pen on the edge of the area then mounted it onto dark green card.

Using a narrow off cut of orange card stock, I stamped the script using the Funky Fossil "Musings" stamp set with Versafine Clair "Chianti", a dark red coloured ink.  I then added a strip of one of the new Funky Fossil "Patina Washi Tapes" along the length of it and then inked the edges using the same "Chianti" ink.  I then adhered the card on to the prepared background and then added the engine image.

I used the new Funky Fossil "Cogs & Gears" die set to cut the chain and cogs in red card.  They cut perfectly and adhered into position.

Finally, I decided the card needed a sentiment, so I stamped one in Versafine "Vintage Sepia" using the Funky Fossil "Small Print" stamp set. Then matted and layered the background onto blue and black card.
