I made this quick card by stamping the flower (Stampin' Up "Flourishg Phrases) onto a plain piece of card using a Versamark ink pad and clear embossing powder. I blended three colours of distress ink from the centre of the card outwards. Finally, I stamped the "Hello" (Stampin' Up "Hello Friend) in StazOn ink.
A brief look into the life of a crafter interested paper crafting, sewing, baking and reading.

Spellbinders Floral Tag
Yesterday afternoon, I watched a Facebook Live session by Christine Emberson Spellbinders Ambassador. Where she demonstrated the use of two sets of dies. I don't have those dies, but today I decided to use a similar layout and dust of some Spellbinders dies which I have not used for some time to make a tag.
I have used an assortment of Spellbinder dies for my tag. I used an off-cut of green distressed looking paper and stuck it to a tag to create the base. I then used a lattice die to create the cream trellis work (I seem to have mis-laid the packet) and lightly inked the edges in an olive green ink.
I then die cut a circle in cream card and stamped the sentiment using a Stampin' Up set called "Hello Friend" in a sepia Versafine ink. Using the Spellbinders Shapeabilities wreath die I cut the wreath in brown card and stuck it around the circle.
Using water colour paper, I die cut the leaves and layers of petals, using Spellbinders "Timeless Heart - Textured Flowers". I then coloured them using Tim Holtz Distress Inks, building up the colours as I went. I spritzed the pieces which then allowed me to manipulate the shapes to have curves. I then secured the layers together with a small brad.

Week 30 - 52 Week Mini Art Card/Tag Challenge 2017
The prompt for Week 30 is Hello
For my tag I started with a sheet of patterned paper which I stuck to a tag, I then sanded the paper to get a faded distress feel. On a sheet of white card I stamped a foliage wreath using Stampin' Up "Hello Friend" stamp and StazOn ink. I then die cut the outer and inner edges into a circle with a hole in. I used the middle bit that I wasn't going to use for the tag as a mask.
Using a Crafters Companion script stamp I stamped over the mask (using a Versafine ink), then removed it. which left a blank green circle. Using stamps from Stampin' Up "Eastern Beauty", I stamped the circle of dots and then added the "hello" (from the same set).I then over inked the tag in a yellow/orange colour.
Returning to the wreath, I inked the edges in green and a yellow/orange shade. I then added small floral embellishments. and stuck the wreath to the tag.
