Visible Image "Flower Ink" stencil card

wanted to make a cheerful and bright card with a positive vibe.  This wasn't for any particular reason, I just fancied making something to reflect the sunshine of today.

Using a 6x6" white piece of card, I lay the Visible Image "Flower Ink Stencil" over the top and secured using a piece of low tack tape.

Using a blending brush I added colour through the stencil using Versafine Clair "Cheerful" yellow ink and "Summertime" orange coloured ink.

I removed the stencil and added a little detail for the petals using a pastel pencil.

In the middle of the flower, I used a stamp from the Visible Image "Random Art of Kindness" set with Versafine Clair "Summertime" orange ink.  I then used a pink Posca Pen to add extra detail to the central area.

Using Versafine Clair "Twilight" dark blue ink, I stamped the sentiment, which is called "Laugh Louder" by Visible Image Stamps.

I added extra pink dots around the edge of the stencilled flower using a brigh pink Posca Pen.  I then added white dots using a white gel pen and then larger white dots using Ranger Enamel Accents.

Visible Image Stamps "Where dreams take you" card

Another early morning crafting session from me, today I've been using Visible Image stamps.

I had a rummage through my backgrounds file and found a Brusho background where I had a dark blue/purple with runs of colour towards the bottom.  I thought this would be ideal for what I had in mind.

I stamped the Visible Image "Fibonacci" (grid with curl) using Versafine Clair "Twilight" dark blue ink.

Using Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink, I stamped the Visible Image eye, which is part of their "Where dreams take you" stamp set.  I then stamped the word "Vision" which is from the same stamp set.

I used the same ink to stamp the detail on the left hand side of the card, which are from two Visible Image stamp sets, ""Random art of kindness" and "Rays of light".

I used Van Goch Pastel Pencils to add colour to the eye area.  Added extra black and white dots using Ranger "Enamel Accents" and used a white gel pen to add a little white to the eye, to give the impression of light hitting it.

Visible Image "Dragonfly Tranquility" card

I found a small piece of card with a Brusho Ink background in my stash that I decided to use today.  it had lovely greeny blue shades and to me shouted water.

I decided to use a Visible Image stamp set that I've not used for a long time.  It's called "Live in the moment" and has a beautiful dragonfly stamp, among others.

I dusted the surface of the card with an anti-static bag, then stamped the large dragonfly using Wow! Clear Embossing Ink, then coated the area with "Wow! Metallic Silver Super Fine" embossing powder.  I used the same process with the two smaller drafonflies then heat set the images.

Using the Visible Image "Ripples" stencil and "Blue Atoll" Elements Inks, I created the ripples on the central area of the card.  I used the same ink to colour in the wings of the dragonfly too.

I used Van Goch Pastel Pencils to give more depth to the ripples, then stamped the word "Tranquiltiy" in Versafine Clair "Warm Breeze" ink. The word is part of another Visible Image stamp set called "Random Art Of Kindness".

I mounted the stamped square on to dark blue card and then white card, going around the edges of the card with a silver glitter Signo gel pen.  I also added details to the dragonflies and also edged the "tranquility" word in the same ink.  I smeared some "Crystal" Stickles on to the dragonfly wings using the tip of my finger, do give a subtle sparkle.  Sadly this can't be seen in this photograph.  If the weather is brighter tomorrow, I will take a little video of the sparkles.

Finally, using the same "Ripples" stencil with "Peacock Feathers" and "Cracked Pistachio" Distress Oxide ink, I created lighter shades of ripples on the white card mount.

Visible Image "Hope and Colour" challenge card 2

I've been playing with Visible Image stamps and stencils this morning, making this card.

I brayered "Peacock Feathers" Distress Oxide Ink onto card to get a blended look, lighter at one end to the other.

I used "Stormy Sky" Distress Oxide Ink through the Visible Image "Ripples" stencil over the top of the brayered background.

Using Versafine Clair "Nocturne" ink, I stamped the "hope" sentiment, part of the Visible Image "Equality, Hope and Love" stamp set, I then stamped the remaining areas using the Visible Image "Random Art of Kindness" stamp set.

Next, I stamped the flowers on to white card and coloured them using two Distress Oxide Inks, "Wild Honey" and "Carved Pumpken".  Cut the flowers out, edged them with a black Sharpie pen, then adhered them on to the card, adding small metal beads to the middle of each flower.

Visible Image "Break Free" Daisy Tag

I had decided to have a day off crafting, but found myself drawn to my craft desk, so decided to make a little tag.

I used a tag with a Distress Oxide Spray background that I had prepared a while back, I had already used the Visible Image "Meshine Around" stencil on it, so that really dictated the way I went with the whole tag.

I used the Visible Image "Break Free" stamp set for the vase and flower, coloured with Distress Oxide Inks.

In the background I used the dotty circles from the Visible Image "Creative Chaos" stamp set and the straight lines form the Visible Image "Shape it up" stamp set.  The words are from the Visible Image "Random Art of Kindness" stamp set, all stamped in Versafine Ink.

I added some white areas to the dots, which turned pale blue due to the base, using a Posca Pen.

Week 36 - 52 Week Mini Art Card / Tag Challenge 2019

The prompt for Week 36 is "Meadow Life" - create your tag based on what you may see in a meadow.

I started my tag by swooshing a plain white tag through two shades of Distress Oxide Inks - Twisted Citron and Tumbled Glass.

I then used Distress Oxide Ink called "Peeled Paint", through a That's Crafty "Mini Fern Stencil".

I used an Inkylicious "Mini Splatter Circle" stamp with Versafine Clair "Warm Breeze" ink t create the background behind the rabbit.

I then stamped the Aall & Create "Rabbit #224" using Brown Versafine Clair in an "Acorn" shade of ink over the splatter.  I then stamped the same image on an off-cut of plain white card.

I painted the colours on the rabbit image using Distress Oxide "Vintage Photo" and "Spun Sugar" shades of ink.  I then cut around the edges and adhered the image over the one stamped on the tag.  I coloured the flowers using Sakura Gelly Roll pens.

I stamped the Visible Image word "Tranquility", part of the "Random Art of Kindness" stamp set in Versafine Clair "Warm Breeze".  I used the same ink to colour the edges of the tag.

Finally using a small flower punch, I punch cut the flowers in various colours and adhered below the rabbit.  I added a little pattern to the flowers and also added some white dots to the circle splatter using a white Signo Pen.  Using a tiny daisy stamp, part of a Papertrey Ink stamp set, I added some red and yellow flowers to the background.
