Lavinia Stamps Snail Swing Bed Card

I've played with a couple more new release Lavinia Stamps, to create this card. This card has a lot of sparkle, but sadly the photograph doesn't do it justice.  If the light is right tomorrow, I will take a little video and add it to this post.

For this card, I used the new Lavinia "Swing Bed (Large)" stamped in Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink. I then stamped the snails which are part of the Lavinia "Snail Set" in two shades of Versafine Clair Inka:  Fallen Leaves and Pinecone.

I then set to work on the background.  I used the Lavinia "Lime Punch Element Ink" around and inside the stamped Swing Bed.  I then added the "Pine Element Ink around the edges to give more focus on the central area.

I used the Lavinia "Flurry Stencil" with two shades of "Elements Inks (Della Blue and Violet Chalk) through the stencil to create a leafy border to the swing bed.

I used one of the Lavinia "Fairy Charms", again stamped in Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink.

I then used the long dangly stamp from the Lavinia "Floral Wreath", stamped in Versfine Clair "Shady Lane" to create the impression of trailing foliage.

I then started to highlight areas with a white and gold shimmer gelly roll pen.  I also added a few touched of red using a Posca Pen.

Lavinia Stamps Moonlight Garden

When you can't sleep, craft...!  That kind of sums me up for the past few nights.  I fall asleep fine, but then ping, my head starts thinking of all sorts and my mind won't let the thoughts go, so I make a coffee and craft for a while.  This morning I decided to play with a couple of my new Lavinia Stamps, which were released recently.

I started by using the Lavinia Moon Mask to mask of a circle area.  I used two of the Lavinia "Elements" inks "Sunset and Russet Orange" to fill in the moon colour.

Next, I placed a circle moon mask over the inked area and coloured the area around the moon in Distress Oxide Inks (Faded Jeans, Chipped Sapphire and Wilted Violet).

Over the top of that, I placed the Lavinia "Posy" stencil/mask and used "Faded Jeans" Distress Oxide Ink through the stencil.  I then blended "Chipped Sapphire" Distress Oxide over the top of that.

Using a wet fan paint brush, I tapped it over the surface of the sky area and then blotted with a piece of kitchen paper.

I then turned my attention to the stamping, using Verasfine Clair "Nocturne" black ink, I stamped the new Lavinia "Silhouette Grass" and then the "Silhouette Foliage" in both first and second generation stamping. I then stamped the fairy, which is part of the "Fairy Foragers" stamp set. I used a heat gun to speed up the drying of the ink.

Finally, I added a touch of yellow Posca Pen the lantern area.  I used a Sakura Gelly Roll Pen in a soft gold glitter colour to add high lights to the edge of the moon, the fairy wings and the tops of the flowers and grass areas. I added some white dots to the sky to add dimension as if some stars are brighter than others.

Funky Fossil Bokeh Tag

This evening, I had an urge to make a tag, deciding to use Funky Fossil Designs products throughout. 

I used the Funky Fossil "Bokeh Builder" stencil to create the coloured discs in the background, using Wild Honey, Peeled Paint and Faded Jeans Distress Oxide Inks through the stencil.

I then used the Funky Fossil "Burlap Texture" stencil with "Pumice Stone Distress Oxide ink at the top and the bottom of the tag.

Next, using Versfine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink, I multi stamped the text which is from the Funky Fossil "Musings" stamp set.

I stuck some of the Funky Fossil "Quirky Tree die" cut shapes on to the tag.

Next I used a sentiment from the Funky Fossil "Lotus Reflections" stamp set, stamping on a plain piece of card using Versafine Clair "Twilight" dark blue ink, cutting to size and adhering into postion.

I then used "Faded Jeans" Distress Oxide Ink to colour the edges of the tag, finally adding some of the Funky Fossil "enamel dots" to embellish the tag.

Day 30 of #thedailymarker30day challenge (August 2021)

Yey! I did it.  Finished #thedailymarker30day challenge on the finishing day! Pat on the back for me and maybe a glass of something nice to celebrate.

For my final piece, I've used a stamp from a Stampin' Up set called "Cozy Cottage", stamped in Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink and coloured with water colour pencils.

I've used a Stampin' Up set called "Moon Lake" stamped in Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink.  I've coloured the image using an assortment of Distress Oxide colours and some Posca Pens.

I've used a Stampin' Up set called "Lovely as a tree" for the main image, stamped in Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink.

I've used a selection of Distress Oxide Inks to create the sunset sky.

Lavinia Stamps Fuschia Card

I've had a play with my Lavinia Stamps this afternoon, creating this card. 

I used the Lavinia Moon Mask and three of their "Element" ink colours (Pine, Lime Punch and Della Blue) to create the background.

I stamped the Lavinia Fuschia and the sentiment (part of Heartfelt Verses stamp set) in Versafine Clair "Twilight" ink.

I've used a Penny Black Inc cling stamp from thier "Doggone Sweet" set, coloured with Distress Oxide Inks and a pencil for extra detail.

I've used a Hobby Art Stamp set called "Partridge in a pear tree" for the main image, coloured in Distress Oxide Inks and Signo Pens.

The sentiment is from a Simon Says Stamp set called "Tiny Words Christmas" and is stamped in Versafine Clair "Nocturne" ink.

I've used a Stampin' Up set called "Lovely as a tree" for the leaf and acorn image, coloured with Distress Oxide Inks.  I've used a Funky Fossil Stencil called "Micro Dots" to create a bit of interest around the leaves.

The sentiment is by Waffle Flower Stamps and is part of their "Essential Sentiments" stamp set, also stamped in Distress Oxide Ink.

For my Day 22 of #thedailymarker30day challenge, I have used a Stampin' Up set called "Butterfly Basics" with a Funky Fossil stencil in the background called "Trellis Background".

I've stamped in Versafine Clair Inks, using Distress Oxide Inks and Arteza coloured pencils for the colour.

This is my Day 21 for #thedailymarker30day colouring challenge.  I've used a Stampin' Up set called "Wonderful Moments" for the bride image, stamped in Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink. I've coloured the image in various shades of Distress Oxide Inks.

The sentiment is part of a Simon Says Stamp set called "Tiny Words Birthday", stamped in Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink.

Day 20 of #thedailymarker30day challenge (August 2021)

I've had a couple of days off the challenge, so am playing catch up once again.  

Here's my Day 20 card. I've used a Penny Black clear stamp from their set called "Animal Wisdom" stamped in Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink and coloured with "Wild Honey" Distress Oxide Ink.

For the background, I have used the Funky Fossil "Honeycomb Background Stencil".  I first coloured the white card with "Wild Honey" Distress Oxide Ink, I then used the same ink through the stencil to create the pattern.

Lavinia Stamps "Whimsical Hares" Second Birthday Card

 

Here's a birthday card I've made using a selection of goodies from Lavinia Stamps.

I created the circle background using a circle mask with Lavinia Stamps Elements "Bermuda" and "Mermaid" through their "Foliage Stencil".

I stamped the hares around the edge of the circle, using the Lavinia Stamps "Whimsical Hares" stamp set and Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink.

Around the edge of the circle and the hares, I multi stamped one of the Lavinia floral pound stamps in Versafine Clair "Warm Breeze" ink.  I added touches of orange to some of the larger flowers using a Posca Pen.

I die cut a number two and coloured it with an orange Posca Pen, I then added spots to the the die cut number using a white Gelly Roll pen.  While I had the pen in my hand, I also added highlights to the hares.

Finally, I stamped the sentiment , which is part of the Lavinia Stamps "Heartfelf Verst" stamp set in "Warm Breeze" Versafine Clair ink. 

Day 19 of #thedailymarker30day colouring challenge (August 2021)

 

I made this card about 5:30 this morning, but forgot to upload it.  Here is my Day 19 card.

I have no idea who made the clear stamp set, as it is one I bought as part of a bundle from ebay a couple of years back.  I stamped in Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink and painted Distress Oxide Inks to colour the image.

Love Bird Anniversary Card

I've used a products from three different manufacturers to create this anniversary card. 

I've used a Deckle Edge card blank, laying a Lavinia Stamps "Feather Leaf" stencil over the top and working "Seedless Preserve" Distress Oxide Ink over the surface to create the background pattern.

I die cut a plain piece of card into an oval shape, then stamped the birds and hanging heart (both are part of the Funky Fossil "Nordic Noel stamp set), in Versafine Clair "Purple Delight ink.

I then stamped the sentiment in the same ink, which is part of the My Favourite Things stamp set called "Essential Sentiments".

Next I used the Funky Fossil "Micro Dots Stencil" with "Weathered Wood" Distress Oxide inks to fill in the background of the oval.  I then used the same ink to shade the birds. 

Finally, I coloured the heart with "Seedless Preserve" Distress Oxide Ink and then adhered the oval onto the decorated Deckle Edged card.

Here's my Day 18 for #thedailymarker30day colouring challenge, I am at last up to date! 

I've used a Hobby Art Ltd stamp called "Ornate Owls" for the main image, stamped in Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink.

I've coloured the image using a combination of products, including Arteza coloured pencils, Distress Oxide Inks, Posca Pens and metallic Signo pen.

The sentiment is by Lawn Fawn, called "Simply Sentiments" and is stamped in "Morning Mist" Versafine Clair Ink.

Finally, I added  a touch of Ranger "Glossy Accents" to each eye.

Here's my Day 17 card for #thedailymarker30day colouring challenge. 

I've used a Stampin' Up set called "Hanging Garden", stamped in "Morning Mist" Versafine Clair ink.

I've used a Funky Fossil Designs stencil called "Brick Wall 2" for the background, coloured with two shades of Distress Oxide Inks.

The baskets are coloured using Arteza colouring pencils and Posca Pens.

Here's my Day 16 of #thedailymarker30day colouring challenge. 

I've used a Penny Black stamp from their "Doggone Sweet 40-391" stamp set, stamped in "Morning Mist" Versafine Clair Ink and coloured with Distress Oxide Inks.

The sentiment is by Personal Impressions and is stamped in Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink.

So half way through the challenge now, here's my Day 15 make for #thdailymarker30day colouring challenge. 

I masked off a circle and used the Funky Fossil "Micro Dots" stencil with Distress oxide inks to create the dotty frame.

In the middle I stamped the bird which is part of the Funky Fossil Designs "Toucan Talk" stamp set, stamped in Versafine Clair 'Twilight" ink, then coated in Wow! Clear Embossing powder then heat set.  I coloured the Toucon with a selection of Distress Oxide Inks and Posca Pens.  

I created a mask for the toucon popping it over the top of the coloured image and then filled the background in with "Peacock Feathers" Distress Oxide Ink.

Finally, I stamped the word "Celebrate" which is part of the Funky Fossil "Small Talk" stamp set.

Stampers Anonymous "Perspective" Butterfly Birthday Card

This is one of the August birthday cards I've made.

I used a small piece of card that I had used to mop up shades of pink ink from previous projects for the background of the central image.  I then stamped the large butterfly, from the Stampers Anonymous "Perspective" cling stamp set in Versafine Cliar "Purple Delight" ink, coated it in Wow! Clear embossing powder and then heat set.

Once dry and cooled, I used the Funky Fossil "Butterfly Background" stencil with "Picked Raspberry" Distress Oxide ink.

I then added touches of white Posca Pen to the butterfly wings and inked the edge of the square using the "Purple Delight" Versafine Clair Ink.

On a white card blank, I lay the Funky Fossil "Butterfly Background" stencil over the top and used "Spun Sugar Distress Oxide ink though the stencil.

I added double sided sticky tape to the butterfly square and adhered on to the front of the card.

Finally, I used two sentiments from the Simon Says Stamps "Tiny Words Birthday" set, stamped in Versafine Clair "Purple Delight ink" to finish the card.

Here's my Day 14 make for #thedailymarker30day challenge for August 2021. 

I've stamped in Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" and then covered with Wow! clear embossing powder and heat set.  The sentiment is by Waffle Flower, part of their "Essential Sentiments" stamp set.

The floral image is by Woodware and is called "Wiggly Stems".  I've used a paint brush to apply Distress Oxide Inks to colour the image.

I've been away for a few days in the caravan, so am a few days behind with my colouring challenge.  This is my Day 9 colouring for #thedailymarker30day colouring challenge.

I've used Versafine Clair ink to stamp the Penny Black "All Natural" stamps and the Simon Says Stamp "Clean Line Everyday" sentiment stamp.  I've used Arteza colouring pencils and the Funky Fossil "Micro Dots" stencil with "Bundled Sage" Distress Oxide Ink in the background.

I've used a Penny Black stamp set called "Blooming Garden" and a Simon Says Stamp sentiment from their "Tiny Words Encouragement" stamp set.  Both stamped in Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink. I've used Arteza coloured pencils to colour the flowers.

I've used a Penny Black Inc stamps from ther "Animal Wisdom" stamp set, stamped in Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" and "Nocturne" and coloured with Distress Oxide Inks (Bundled Sage, Tea Dye and Rusty Hinge).

Funky Fossil Designs "Nordic Noel" and Washi Tape Christmas Card

This evening, I have had a play with the new Funky Fossil Designs "Nordic Noel" stamp set and their "Merry & Bright" Washi Tape.

I positioned the three strips of the "Merry & Bright" Washi Tape diagonally.

I stamped the deer using Versafine Clair "Chianti" dark red ink, colouring it with Posca Pens and then fussy cut. and adhered into position. I then stamped the "Noel" sentiment in the same ink.

I mounted the card onto a sheet of the Funky Fossil "Merry & Bright" patterned paper.

Day 6 #thedailymarker30day colouring challenge (August 2021)

Here's my Day 6 make for #thedailymarker30day colouring challenge, playing catch up at the moment.

For the sentiment, I have used a Waffle Flower stamp from their "Essential Sentiments" set stamped in Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink. 

For the leaves and berries, I used a Penny Black stamp from thier "All Natural" stamp set, stamped in Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink and coloured with Distress Oxide Inks.

Day 5 of #thedailymarker30day colouring challenge (August 2021)

I've used a Penny Black stamp and sentiment for my Day 5 make of #thedailymarker30day colouring challenge.  The set is called "Animal Wisdom 30-352".

I've used "Bundled Sage", "Pumice Stone" and "Hickory Smoke" Distress Oxide Inks, applied with a brush.  I've stamped in Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink.

Day 4 - #thedailymarker30day colouring challenge (August 2021)

Here's my Day 4 of #thedailymarker30day colouring challenge.

I've used a Woodware stamp called "Bubble Butterfly JGS252" for the main image, stamped in Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink. I then coated it in Wow! clear embossing powder and heat set.  This provides a raised edge to contain the ink/paint within.

I stamped the "Hello" sentiment, part of the Waffle Flower stamp set called "Essential Sentiments" usine Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink.

I filled the bubbles with various shades of Distress Oxide inks, adding dots with Posca Pens.  On some of the dots, I added some Ranger "Glossy Accents" to add dimension.

Edited to add: After taking the photo, I put the card to one side and managed to smudge the wet glossy accents, so this card is now in the bin! 

Hobby Arts Ltd "Lino Cut Hares" Card

I had a play with a Hobby Arts Ltd stamp set called "Lino Cut Hares" to make this card.  I stamped in two shades of Versafine Clair inks and used two shades of Distress Oxide Inks in the background along with a white Signo pen for highlights. 

Day 3 - The Daily Marker 30 Day Colouring Challenge (August 2021)

Here's my Day 3 piece of colouring, part of #thedailymarker30day colouring challenge. 

I've used a Penny Black cling stamp called "Delicate Florals 40-103", stamped in Versafine Clair "Shady Lane" green ink, then coated in Wow! clear embossing powder and heat set.

I coloured the flowers with two shades of Distress Oxide Inks:  Seedless Preserves and Dusty Concord.  I added touches of "Peeled Paint" Distress Oxide to the leaf area.

In the background, I used a Funky Fossil "Micro Dot Stenicl" with "Bundled Sage" Distress Oxide Ink.

Finally, I stamped the sentiment, which is part of the Simon Says "Tiny Words Birthday" in Versafine Clair "Shady Lane" ink.

Day 2 - The Daily Marker 30 Day Colouring Challenge (August 2021)

Day 2 of "The Daily Marker 30 Day Colouring Challenge".  For this one, I have gone all out Funky Fossil!

I've used the Funky Fossil Designs "Heartfelt Tree Stencil" for the background.  The Funky Fossil "More Furry Friends" stamp set for the dog and the Funky Fossil "Small Print" stamp set for the sentiment.

Lavinia Stamps "Floral Wreath" Gift Tag

I needed a gift tag, so decided to make one. 

I used the Lavinia Stamps "Floral Wreath" stamp with Versafine Clair "Medieval Blue" ink, coated in Wow! clear embossing powder and then heat set.  I used the same process for the sentiment which is by Waffle Flower and is part of thier "Essential Sentiments" stamp set.

I swooshed the tag through spritzed "Tumbled Glass" Distress Oxide Ink and then ran the heat gun over it to dry.  I then used "Peacock Feather" Distress Oxide Ink through the Lavinia Stamps "Pods" stencil to create the background pattern.

Day 1 - The Daily Marker 30 Day Colouring Challenge (August 2021)

I've decided to take part in "The Daily Marker 30 Day Colouring Challenge" through August. I am likely to get a bit behind as we have a few things planned for the month, but I'm pretty certain I'll get it done eventually.

This is my Day 1 make, on a kaleidoscope theme.  I've used the Funky Fossil  "Flowery Felines" stamp set, designed by Donna Gray for the stamped images.

I've stamped in Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" and "Nocturne" inks.  I've used Distress Oxide Inks and Posca Pens for the colouring.

Stampin' Up Dragonfly Dreams Friend Birthday Card

Today, I've dug out one of my favourite Stampin' Up clear stamp sets, called "Dragonfly Dreams".

I stamped the dragonfly in Versafine Clair "Warm Breeze" ink and then coated it in Wow! clear embossing powder and heat set. I used the same process and ink for the sentiment.

Over the dragonfly wings I used another stamp from the same set with Versafine Clair "Verdant" green. 

For the background, I used three shades of Distress Oxide Inks (Twisted Citron, Tumbled Glass and Peacock Feathers) through the "Broken Mosaic" Funky Fossil stencil. 

Finally, I added some touches of metallic silver and gold using Signo pens to the wings.
