The 100 Day Project 2026 - Day 99

Today, is Day 99 of the 100 Day Project 2026, and it's another clean and simple design from me.  This is a challenge where you spend a short time each day creating, using the mediums of your choice.  Mine is 4x4" card, using collage, stamps and stencils.

For my Day 99 I used Versafine Clair "Arctic" blue ink to stamp the open dots in the background, which are part of the Visible Image stamp set called "Grunge Tones".

Next, I used Versafine Clair "Adriatic Sea" a mid blue colour ink to stamp the grungy looking numbers, which are part of a Visible Image stamp set called "Distressed Christmas".

Then using Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink, I stamped the Butterfky and text background, which is part of the Visible Image "Antisocial Butterfly" stamp set.  I then stamped the butterfly again on white card, fussy cut the image and glued into position on the base card.

I added colour to the butterfly using an aqua coloured Posca Pen, then added a "Wink of stella" to the wings to give a lovely gold shimmer, sadly the photograph has not really picked that detail up.

Finally, I added the signature swallow, part of a Dina Wakley collage paper set and a Tim Holtz "Idea-ology" word sentiment saying "hello my darling" to the top right corner.

52 Week Mini Art Card / Tag Challenge 2025 - Week 52

The Crafting Niche 52 Week Mini Art Card/Tag Challenge 2025:

This is a weekly challenge. I provide you with a prompt/theme each Sunday morning through out the year.  The challenge is very relaxed.  You can do as much or as little as you like.  You can create cards, tags, Artist Trading Cards (ATC's) or index cards, the choice is yours. You just go with what ever is in your head at the time.  You can stamp, get inky, use patterned papers, texture, embellish it is all down to you.

There is a dedicated private Facebook Group, with a lovely bunch of people who are already sharing their makes from previous challenges.  You can find the group by clicking this link.  I'd love you to join in.

The prompt for Week 52 is "Celebrate"

For the base colour of this tag I used Blue Print Sketch and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Inks.  I then used Versafine Clair Medieval Blue and Morning Mist to stamp the background text, using  Visible Image "Distressed Christmas" stamp set.

I used a Wow! Clear Slow Drying Embossing Pad to stamp the bursts, then coated them with Wow! Silver super fine embossing powder and heat set.  The bursts are part of the Visible Image "Rays of Light" stamp set.

In the middle of the fireworks I added Lavinia Stamps "Moon Dust" silver glitter.  I then added word stickers and finally dots of "Lightning: Liquid Pearls.

Visible Image "Creative Chaos" Card - Inspired by Eileen Godwin On-line Workshop

I couldnt sleep so decided to get up and craft.  I watched another of Eileen Godwin's on-line workshops and decided to try it myself.  This is my take on Project 4 of Workshop 15.

As before, I won't go into the process of making this card as it is from one of Eileen's paid workshops.  However, I will detail the products that I have used for this card (I didn't have everything that Eileen used, so have improvised).

Visible Image "Atomic Flower" Stencil

Visible Image "Set the tone" stamp set

Visible Image "Grunge Flourish" stamp

Visible Image "Creative Chaos" stamp set

Visible Image "Distressed Christmas" stamp set

Lavinia Stamps "Filigree" stencil

Lavinia Stamps "Wreath Flourish - left" stamp

Wow! Embossing Powders and inks

Versafine Clair Inks

Distress Inks

Derwent Inktense Pencils

Sweet Poppy Stencils "Pumpkin & Pumpkin Vine" Card - inspired by an Eileen Godwin on-line workshop

Eileen Godwin has inspired me over the years in so many ways.  I decided to book one of her on-line workshops that she had advertised recently, as I really liked the pieces she had made. The workshop I subscribed to was #15 - all about inky layers.

Because this was a workshop, I am not going to detail the process to make the card.  I have swapped out the background script stamp and the main feature stamps that Eileen used as I didn't have them, so although the background is reasonably close to that of Eileen's sample, the over all finished card looks quite different.

Here's a list of the products I used

Distress Oxide Inks

Distress Inks

Ranger Archival Ink

Element Ink

Hero Art Ink

Wow! Embossing ink and powder

Funky Fossil "Simply Stripes" stencil

Visible Image "Butterfly Ink" Stencil

Visible Image "Distressed Christmas" stamp

Sweet Poppy Stencils "Pumpkin" & "Pumpkin Vine" stamp

Metallic paint

Metallic gold gel pen
