Lavinia Stamps February 2002 Hochanda TV Show Preview - Set 4
Lavinia Stamps will be on Hochanda TV on Friday 7th February at 12pm and 3pm, with a fabulous selection of stamps and accessories demonstrated by Amanda Branston.
I used the "Border Stamp Floral" stamped at an angle in three different shades of pale blue/turquoise Colorbox Cats Eye inks. I then cut the stamped area into a rectangle.
I stamped "The Oracle" figure using Versafine Clair "Warm Breeze" ink which is like a teal colour. Using the same ink, I created a light landscap, by dragging the ink down over the torn edge of a piece of copy paper. I used a pencil to ground the figure and staff.
I decided to stamp the sentiment "Embrace Your Dreams" vertically, using Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey shade of ink.
Finally, I used a Sakura Gelly Roll pen to add a little subtle sparkle to the card.

Lavinia Stamps February 2020 Hochanda TV Show Sample Preview - Set 4
On Friday 7th February at 12pm and 3pm Lavinia Stamps will be on Hochanda TV with a selection of fabulous stamps, with techniques demonstrated by Amanda Branston.
This is a sample I created using some of the stamps that will be available to purchase on the TV show.
For my sample, I started by creating the background by placing "Antique Linen" and "Pumice Stone" Distress Oxide Ink onto my glass mat, giving the ink a light spritz of water and then swooshing the piece of card through the colours. For areas that swooshing the colour missed, I used a paint brush to fill the gaps. This provided a nice mottled background a little like marbelling.
Using Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink, I stamped "The Oracle" as the main focal point of the card.
I created the steps that "The Oracle" stands on by using the "Floral Border Stamp" in a vertical position, stamping at four times in Versafine Clair "Shady Lane" green ink.
Using the same ink, I stamped the "Celestial Tree" in the background and the "Creeping Vine" in the foreground, both these stamps will be available on the Hochanda shows too.
I added touched of solid gold colour to the flower centres on the "Floral Border" steps and also to the "Celestial Trees". Using a Sakura Gelly Roll Pen, I added some gold shimmer to the hair and outline of "The Oracle".
I inked the edges of the card and then mounted it onto green card, then mounted that onto a mottled background, created in the same way as I made the background for the central image. I used the first two lines of "Embrace Your Dreams" sentiment with Versafine Clair "Shady Lane" green ink. I then mounted the whole card onto a black background which makes the whole image pop.

Lavinia Stamps, February 2020 Hochanda TV Show Sample Prieview - Set 4
Lavinia Stamps will be on Hochanda TV on Friday 7th February 2020 at 12pm and 3pm. This is a sample that I have made for the show.
I have used two Distress Oxide Inks, Antique Linen and Pumice Stone to create the background colours.
I stamped "The Oracle" figure in Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink. I stamped the "Embrace Your Dreams" sentiment in the same ink.
I masked off a circle for the moon and edged it with Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink. I used the same ink to create the landscape using the torn edge of a piece of copy paper.
On a separate piece of card, I tried out various shades of Versafine Ink with the border stamp to see which I preferred. I decide on using Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink to stamp four "Floral borders". I then adhered them on to the stamped image and cut down to size.
Finally, I used a Sakura Gelly Roll pen to give some soft gold shimmer to the hair, moon and The Oracle Figure

Lavinia Stamps August 2019 New Release Stamps Sneak Peek
On the 22nd August, Lavinia Stamps will be releasing ten new stamp sets. Some will be on the Hochanda TV show, airing at 11am and 3pm, but all will also be available from the Lavinia Stamps web site.
As part of the Lavinia Stamps Design Team, I was fortunate to have a play with lovely new designs that stamp perfectly.
I created the background colour using Dylusion Spray Inks in the following colours: Lemon Zest, Pure Sunshine, Squeezed Orange and Postbox Red. Once the background was totally dry I commenced creating the image.
I masked off the moon and shaded the edges then gave the middle a lighter look by using a light covering of a Distress Oxide Ink called "Antique Linen".
I stamped the figure on the left, she is new and is called "Zemira" and the dragon called "Mideela". I then moved to the right of the page and stamped "The Oracle" (she is an existing stamp in the Lavinia Stamp collection). All were stamped in Versafine Clair "Nocturne" ink.
Using a Versafine Clair ink in the shade of "Morning Mist" I stamped the "Star Burst" flowers and then multiply stamped the "Dragon Verse" across the page.
I created the landscape that the figures stand on by using the torn edge of a piece of card and Distress Oxide Inks.
I decided the far left edge looked a little bare, so I used the "Vine" for that area and the "Mini Slender Mushrooms" for the base of the card, stamped in Versafine Clair "Nocturne.
Finally, I added touches of gold shimmer using a Sakura Gelly Roll pen. I added highlight areas using a white Posca Pen and coloured the Star Burst flowers using a selection of glaze pens.

The Oracle and Valko Card #LaviniaStamps
I am absolutely blown away with the detail on the hair of "The Oracle" one of the new released stamps from Lavinia Stamps, so I wanted to make her the star of this card.
For this card, I started off with a background of two shades of Brusho paints: Gamboge and Moss Green.
I started by stamping "The Oracle" in Versafine "Black Onyx" ink. I then stamped "Valko" the standing wolf, stamped in Versafine Clair "Fallen Leaves" ink.
Next I stamped the "Star Burst" flowers, three in Versafine "Black Onyx" ink and two in Versafine "Stormy Grey" ink.
I stamped the sentiment "Once Upon A Dream" in Versafine "Black Onyx" ink.
Finally, I highlighted areas using a white Signo Pen. I gave areas a gold shimmer using a Sakura Gelly Roll Pen and a touch of colour to the flowers using glitter Signo Pens.
