Funky Fossil Designs "Garden Days" New Stamp Release

Today, Funky Fossil Designs release a lovely selection of stamps, patterned papers, Dies, Enamel Dots and Washi Tapes. I have used one of the new stamp sets, called "Garden Days" to create this card.

I stamped the images in Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink. I then used "Scattered Straw" Distress Oxide Ink through the Funky Fossil "Make Your Mark III" stencil to create the background design.

Finally, I used distress Oxide Inks and Posca Pens to colour in the stamped image.

Lavinia Stamps "Blackberry" Tag

A couple of days ago, Lavinia Stamps released 21 new stamp designs to purchase.  I ordered them all and they arrived today.  After cataloguing them on my spreadsheet, I got down to play.

The "Blackberry" stamp took my fancy for my first make using the new stamps, hence the tag above.

For the background, I cut a piece of white card into a tag.  I then covered it with "Bundled Sage" Distress Oxide Ink.  I then lay the Lavinia Stamps "Foliage" stencil over the tag and used the same ink with a blending brush, which gave a tonal look to the background.

I stamped the blackberry image in Versafine Clair "Shady Lane" green ink and then coloured the image using various shades of Distress Oxide Inks applied with a paint brush.

It is the last day of #thedailymarker30day colouring challenge for March.

I have used a stamp that came with issue 168 of Papercraft Essentials Magazine.

I stamped the heart and the Lawn Fawn sentiment (from their Simply Sentiment set) in Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink.  I coloured the heart using Distress Oxide Inks.

Funky Fossil Designs March 2020 New Stamp Set Launch - Cattitude

Today, Saturday 28th March, Funky Fossil Designs launch five new fabulous clear stamp sets.

I have used the new set called "Cattitude for this sample.  

It is a really quick card to make.  I stamped the cat image using Versafine Clair "Summertime" orange shade of ink.  I coloured the image with two shades of Distress Oxide inks:  Scattered Straw and Wild Honey, I also used an orange Posca pen.  I then fussy cut the cat image.

I stamped the "Cattitude" sentiment and the paw prints using Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink on an orange background.  I then die cut the shape.  I mounted the die cut shape onto a darker shade of orange card and then die cut that.

I die cut two circles a black smaller circle and a slightly larger orange circle.  I adhered the black circle on to the orange backround.  I then adhered the cat image and then the "Cattictude" banner below.

I used a scoreboard to score a line below the sentiment and bent the bottom section so that it created a stand for the card.

Crafty Individual Stamped (gelli plate) Card

This evening I have been re-arranging some of my stamps that have not seen the light of day for some time.  

I used a gelli plate background I had prepared a couple of weeks ago, using Colorbox Ink brayered onto the plate with wet Brusho paint splattered on top providing a mono print.

The mustard, gold and green speckles lent themselves to a rich colour of ink, I decided to opt for Versafine Clair "Chianti" to stamp the Crafty Individuals stamp (I think this must be retired as I wasn't able to locate it on their site).

I found some co-ordinating cardstock and die cut a circle in the card, and adhered above the stamped image.  A quick and effective card and nice to be re-acquainted with an old stamp.
