Lavinia Stamps "Coven of Curiosities" - make 9

I'm still smitten and creating with the fabulous new release from Lavinia Stamps called "Coven of Curiosities" making this card.

Using one of the new "Autumn Mist" stencils with two shades of Versafine Clair inks *Baby Pink" and "Charming Pink".  I then used "Pink Peony" Ranger Archival Ink through the Lavinia Stamps "Feather Leaf" stencil.

I used Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink to stamp one of the witches from the older Lavinia stamp set called "Coven of the blue moon", using the same ink for theblower witch from the latest release called "Prue".

I stamped the new Lavinia "Magic Dwells" verse in "Baby Pink" Versafine Clair ink.  I then used the torn edge of a piece of paper and Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" ink to create the landscape. I grounded the stamps using a 2B pencil, finally adding some touches of white gel pen to the witches and the paint drips.

  1. I love this set of stencils and it is definitely on my 'wish list', and it looks great in the two shades of pink framing one of the cute witches and with the other to the right of it, and the words are great, and also finished beautifully with the Feather Leaf stencilling and grey toned grounding of the two figures. A beautiful card Sam. x

    1. The stencils are lovely to use. I didn't think I would like them and they've surprised me that I do. Also, I like that they're not the "Sticker Stencils", I prefer the "old school" non sticky type x
