Design Team Project for "My Time To Craft Challenge" #413 (New Stash)
There is a new theme on the "My Time To Craft Challenge Blog". The first theme for January is "New Stash" (challenge #413).
My "New Stash" used on this card is a die I purchased over the festive period when an on-line shop called "Hope and Chances" which specialised in Spellbinders dies had a closing down sale. I have a bit of a thing for Spellbinder dies, so it seemed only natural to re-home this one with me!
The background circle of colour was produced by brayering ink onto a round gelli plate and then sprinking Brusho paint on to the plate and taking an impression. You never know what design you're going to get and I quite often have a session making this type of backgrounds as I find I get a bit messy!
Anyway, back to this card, I used a background i'd prepared a while back and cut it down to size to a smaller square.
I used my new Spellbinders "Gilded Gate" "S3-201" die to cut some black card through my Big Shot machine. I glued the gate and posts into postion.
Finally, using Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink, I stamped the Hobby Arts Ltd "Welcome To Your New Home" sentiment, which is part of their "General Greetings - CS016D" clear stamp set.
