Lavinia Stamps Finn and Zuri

I have continued my play with Lavinia Stamps creating this card featuring one of the most recently released stamps "Finn" the fairy  and "Zuri" the unicorn.

I used a gelli plate background I had made a while back.  All stamping was in shades of Versafine Clair ink (Monarch, Shady Lane, Morning Mist and Nocturne).

Other Lavinia Stamps used on this are:  Berry Leaves, Fairy Hive Set, Crow Set, Trees, Mini Meadow Mushroom, Tree Scene, Tree Branch and Climbing Ivy.

Week 50 - 52 Week Mini Art Card / Tag Challenge 2019

The prompt for Week 50 is "Greenery".

For my tag, I've used a selection of Lavinia Stamps on a white card tag base.

I started by stamping the building/door way, which is a stamp called "Hide and Seek"  and the "Path" in Versafine "Smokey Gray" ink.  I then coloured the building with "Pumice Stone", the path with "Hickory Smoke", the ground either side of the path with "Tumbled Glass" and the door with "Walnut Stain" Distress Oxide Inks.

Next, I stamped the berry arch over the door, using both sections of the "Berry Wreath" in Versafine "Olympia Green" ink.  I coloured the berries with a mix of two Distress Oxide Inks:  Candied Apple and Aged Mahogany.

I then turned my attention to the foliage stamping the "Climbing Ivy" and the "Creeping Vine" in Versafine Clair "Rain Forest" green ink.

I decided to make the top of the tag more green, so I used the "Forest Moss" Distress Oxide Ink with a blending tool to add more colour.

Finally, I added some sparkle to the snowy area either side of the path by using some Lavinia "Holographic Moon Dust".

The Green Man Card #1 (Lavinia Stamps)

This week seems to have whizzed by and I've been itching to craft but I've not had an opportunity, due to galavanting about, so today is my craft day!

I have loved the Lavinia Stamps "Green Man" stamp since it was released, but there have always been others that took priority in my shopping basket.  I addressed this over sight this week and treated myself to the small version, which actually isn't so small, approximately 5" x 3.5" in size.

The background of this card is Brusho, applied to a spritzed card, in shades of emerald green and untra-marine.

I stamped The Green Man using a Versamark ink and Wow "Super Fine Metallic Silver" embossing powder and used a heat gun to set it.

I made a mask to cover the image and then used the Lavinia "Sacred Spells" stamp to the top right and bottom left, stamped in Versafine Ink.

I used the Lavinia "Creeping Vine" and "Climbing Ivy" stamped in Versafine Clair "Rain Forest" ink.

Finally I added white to the eyes, using a Signo Pen and a handful of Nuvo sequins to lift the more plain areas.

Tea Cup Bird (Crafty Individuals) Tag

I ordered a couple of stamp sets from Crafty Individuals which arrived today.  They generously enclosed some free stamps with my order.  The bird with the tea cups is one of the free stamps.

I've used a background of Distress Oxides brayered on to the tag, then spritzed the surface of the tag with water and let it dry.

Using a harlequin and trellis stamps, I stamped the background using a Sepia Versafine Ink.  I then used a Lavinia stamp for the ivy.  I stamped the bird and tea cups on an off cut of card, painted it with Distress Inks and then cut round and adhered it to the tag.

Lavinia Stamps Artist Trading Coin #1

Having made the Artist Trading Coin Mini Album I decided I should make a coin to go in with it.

I used Distress Inks for the background and the following Lavinia Stamps:  Woodland Hares, Climbing Ivy, Creeping Vine and a pound stamp.

I think I'm going to enjoy making these little pieces of art.
