Funky Fossil Designs "Wild and Free Stamp Set" Release Day

It's release day for the new goodies from Funky Fossil Designs, that includes the fabulous "Wild and Free" clear stamp set, designed by Tina Ashton.

For the background I have used "Tumbled Glass", "Twisted Citron" and "Mowed Lawn" Distress Oxide Inks.

I used Versafine Clair inks to stamp the images from the new "Wild and Free" stamp set.  The sentiment is from another Funky Fossil stamp set called "Small Print".

Funky Fossil Designs "Wild and Free" New Stamp Preview 2

This is my second preview sample of the new Funky Fossil Designs stamp set called "Wild and Free", designed by Tina Ashton, which will be availble to purchase from Friday 14th May 2021.

I've used some of the smaller elements from this stamp set to create this card.  Stamping the images in Versafine Clair "Verdant" green ink and colouring them with Cosmic Shimmer watercolour paints.  I then die cut the stamped images with circles, mounting them on to a piece of Kraft cardstock.  I added some white dots to the Kraft background to add a little more interest, before mounting it on to green card and then a white card base.

Funky Fossil Designs "Wild and Free" New Stamp Preview

Funky Fossil Designs will be releasing a selection of new goodies on Friday 14th May.  I have used the new "Wild and Free" clear stamp set, designed by my friend Tina Ashton, to create this sample a hanging double-sided MDF heart.

I coated both sides of the hanging heart with white Gesso as a base.  On the reverse side I used Versafine Clair "Warm Breeze" ink through the Funky Fossil "Zen Flower Background stencil". I then coloured the central floral lines with a metallic gold pen.

On a piece of rice paper, I stamped the sentiment, from the new "Wild and Free" stamp set, using Versafine Clair "Nocturne" ink.  I then applied it over the stencil design using PVA glue to adhere the rice paper to the heart.

On the main side, I adhered a sheet of the new "kaleidescope" patterned paper, cutting it to shape. I stamped the hare and from the new "Wild and Free" stamp set in position and then again on a piece of plain white card.  I then stamped the sun to the left of the hare.

I used a selection of Funky Fossil stencils in various shades of Versafine Clair ink to fill the detail around the hare on the patterned paper.  I made some splatters of white Posca Pen before filling the circle of the sun with gold Stickles.

I painted the hare using Cosmic Shimmer watercolour paints which do give a fabulous shimmer finish.  I then cut out the shape and adhered to the heart.
