#thedailymarker30day Colouring Challenge - Day 5 (Funky Fossil "Festive Penguins"
Just a quick reminder that Funky Fossil have 20% off stamps this weekend if you use the discount code of "STAMP20" at checkout - the offer closes at midnight on Monday 13th April (UK time).
This is my make for Day 5 of #thedailymarker30day colouring challenge.
In the background I have used a Funky Fossil stencil called "Christmas Tree Duo" for the trees with Distress Oxide Inks.
I stamped the sentiment and the penguin image using the Funky Fossil "Festive Penguins" stamp set using Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink. I coloured the penguin using Prima Confections "Tropical Water Colours and then fussy cut the shape and stuck it to the card.
I added some falling snow by using a Wow! emobossing pen with Stampendous "Chunk White" embossing enamel and then heated.

Design Team Project for "My Time To Craft Challenge Blog" #410 "Christmas Animals"
It's time for a new prompt on the "My Time To Craft Challenge Blog". Challenge #410 is "Christmas Animals". If you have a minute to spare, please do pop over to the challenge to take a look at the fab creations by my Design Team colleagues.
For my card I've used a Stampin' Up embossing folder called "Softly Falling" for the background.
For the wreath, I have used another Stampin' Up product called "Swirly Scribbles" thinlits dies and the "Pretty Pines Thinlits" dies for the foliage behind the penguin.
For the penguin and the sentiment, I used a Funky Fossil clear stamp set called "Festive Penguins". I stamped the penguin on a spare piece of card and the sentiment in Versafine "Smokey Gray" ink. I used water colour pencils to colour the penguin, I then cut it out and adhered the shape over the wreath and foliage.

Day 13 - The Thirty Daily Marker Thirty Day Challenge #thedailymarker30day
This is my make for "The Daily Marker Thirty Day Colouring Challenge".
I started this card by using a Distress Oxide Ink called "Stormy Sky" through a "Funky Fossil Scandi Quilt Stencil".
I used the sentiment and penguin from a Funky Fossil clear stamp called "Festive Penguins". I stamped the sentiment over the stencilled background and the penguin on an off-cut of white card. I used Arteza Brush Pens to colour the penguin and then cut it out and adhered onto the stencilled background.

Funky Fossil Designs New Stamp Preview - October 2019 (Festive Penguins)
I was thrilled to have a play with some brand new stamps from Funky Fossil Designs which will be available to purchase on their site from 19th October 2019.
Make sure you check back on this blog on the 19th October when I'll be sharing information about a fabulous give away!
I made this card using their new stamp set called "Festive Penguins".

I trimmed the image down then adhered a curved piece of card over the lower section to create a snowscape. I stamped the "Let It Snow" sentiment using Versafine Clair "Twilight" which is a very dark blue ink. I added a pale blue area to the left of the sentiment, using Distress Oxide "Tumbled Glass" ink, that the penguin will stand on.
On a separate piece of card, I stamped two images of the penguin. I coloured the penguin by painting Distress Oxide inks on the hat area of both penguin images. For the body on one of them I used my Arteza Brush Pens.
I cut out the full image of the coloured penguin and adhered into position over the blue paint washed area on the snow.
I then cut the had around the hat on the second penquin image and adhered it over the hat on the card to give dimension to it. I added touches of glitter to the hat using a Sakura gelly roll pen.

I wanted to go for a CAS (Clean and Simple) look for this card, so stamped this little skating penguin and the sentiment in the bottom corner (using Versafine Glair "Morning Mist" grey shade of ink). I coloured the penguin figure using Arteza Brush Pens and gave a hint of blue beneath him using "Tumbled Glass" Distress Oxide Ink
