Funky Fossil Bee Geometric meets Carabelle Studio

This evening I have had a bit of random play. It started out with something I have vaguely in my head but ended up totally different.

I used the Funky Fossil "Binary" stencil with Distress Oxide Inks for the base, in shade of Persimmon, Fossilised Amber, Wild Honey and Mustard Seed.

I multi stamped the Carabelle Studio "Lovely Circles" in "Twilight" Distress Oxide Inks.  Using Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink, I stamped the sentiment and the bee which are both part of the Funky Fossil "Bee Geometric" stamp set.  I coloured the bee and the hearts in using "Picked Raspberry" Distress Oxide inks and added a subtle shimmer using a Sakura Gelly Roll Pen,

Brusho Wax Resist and Carabelle Studio Skittle Tag

Earlier in the week, I watched a Facebook tutorial by the talented Eileen Godwin, where she used a was resist crayon.  I decided to have a go.

I started by using the wax crayon to draw random lines at intervals in two directions.  I then used four shades of Distress Oxide Inks:  Squeezed Lemonade, Tumbled Glass, Peacock Feathers and Picked Raspberry.  I then topped it off with a touch of "Spiced Marmalade" Distress Ink.

I stamped the Carabelle Studio "Skittle SA60500" in Versafine Onyx Black ink.  Next I stamped the circles, which is a Carabell Studio stamp called "Lovely Circles SA70171" in Versafine "Smokey Gray" ink.

I added the sentiment, which is from the Stampers Anonymous "Tiny Text CMS394" in Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink.  I used the same ink to edge the tag.  Finally, I coloured the skittle with Posca Pens.
