Visible Image "One Kind Word" Card

I took a few crafting bits with me to the caravan, but I struggled to craft there as I only took one ink pad, stamping platform, a handful of stamps,my Derwent Inktense pencils with a paint brush.  So I ended up stamping, making this card and made half a card which I will finish at a later date.

While trawling through Social Media, I noticed how cruel and thoughtless some comments made by people were.  As I had the Visible Image "One Kind Word" stamp set with me, I decided to make a black and white card, so that the attention is brought to the wording.  I stamped using Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink.

You're Amazing - Visible Image Card

I took advantage of the 50% off Black Friday offer at Visible Image.  My order arrived late morning and I have wasted no time in trying out some of my new goodies!

I have used three Visible Image products to create this card. This bird is from the "Life is beautiful" set, the sentiment is from the "One of a kind" set and the background is a stencil called "Meshing around".

I stamped the bird in two shades of Versafine Clair ink "Green Oasis" and "Paradise".  The un-inked area of the bird, I painted using a Distress Ink in the shade of "Lucky Clover".  I then created a mask and positioned it on top of the main image using a repo adhesive.

For the stencilled background I used two shades of Distress inks "Wilted Violet" for the inner shade which was covered with "Chipped Saphire" on the outer areas.

The sentiment was stamped in Versafine Clair "Green Oasis".  I added extra colour to the bird using a grey Promarker and also some shimmer using a Sakura Gelly Roll pen.

Visible Image "One Kind Word" Card

I pre-ordered some newly released "Visible Image" stamps which I have been eagerly awaiting.  Today they arrived!

I started off this card by stamping a script stamp (Crafters Companion stamp) in Versafine Clair "Verdant".

I then used "Broken China" Distress Ink through a Visible Image "Time Tunnel" stencil.

Using a Versafine Clair Ink in "Blue Belle" shade I stamped the typewriter and sentiment (both are from the "One Kind Word" set).  I then stamped the typewriter again on a plain piece of card, and stamped the "Hello" in Versafine "Tulip Red".  I cut out the typewriter image and mounted it onto the card using foam pads, so that it gives a more 3-D look to the card.
