I tend not to use "cutesy" style stamps in my crafting these days, but while tidying my stamps came across this Penny Black Stamp that I thought would be ideal for an engagement or anniversary card.
I stamped the Penny Black "Owl Be Yours 40-045" cling stamp in Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink.
To colour the image, I used an assortment of colours of Derwent Inktense pencils, applied with a paint brush.
I used Ranger Archival Ink "Forget-Me-Not" blue ink (which handily matched the Derwent Inktense Blue) through the Funky Fossil Designs "Micro Dots" stencil around the edge of the heart.
Finally, using Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink, I stamped the "Congratulations" sentiment, which is part of the Simon Says "Tiny Words" stamp set. I added a few touches of white and gold gel pen, along with some dots of white "Ranger Enamel Accents".
