Tracy Evans Boutique Designs "Winter Delights TE23" water colour lakeside scene

My Hubby is away in Scotland, playing in boats on lochs, so this scene kind of reflects what he is doing this weekend.

I've used a cream coloured card for the base as it's a warmer tone. I spritzed the card with water then using a paint brush applied Distress Oxide Inks to the card, allowing the colours to run.  The shades of Distress Oxide Inks I used are:  Tumbled Glass (for the water), Stormy Sky and Faded Jeans for the land and reflections.

I used both sizes of the trees in the Tracy Evans Boutique Designs "Winter Delights TE23" stamp set, using two shades of Versafine Clair to stamp both first and second generation stamping.  The colours of inks I used are Fantasia and Twilight. I added depth of the purple colour using a Derwent Inktense pencil called "Deep Violet" and a black fine liner pen.
