I'm still playing catch up on Karen's tags. For some reason I've just not fancied being in the craft room. You can't force these things. But I woke in the middle of the night and decided I may as well get up and do something, so made my Day 6 tag of Karen Telfer's "12 Days of Christmas Tags 2025" series. Here's the link to Karen's tutorial if you fancy having a go yourself. As usual, I have taken inspiration from Karen's tag but made it my own design.
I've used a kraft tag, a layer of white card and then a layer of kraft card, which creates a white frame for the central design.
Using Versafine Clair "Shady Lane" green ink, I stamped the verse, which is part of a Hobby Arts stamp set called "The Holly & The Ivy - CS137D". I used Versafine Clair "Spruce" dark green ink and holly stamps from the Hobby Art "Christmas Flourishes - CS081D" stamp set to stamp the holly on to the kraft card. I then stamped some on white card, which I fussy cut for later use.
Next, I used two colours of Versafine Clair ink to stamp the Lavinia Stamps "Jemima" robin. The colours of ink I used were "Acorn" brown and "Tulip Red" ink.
I then glued the extra holly leaves on to the tag. I added dots of white across the tag for snow and finally added some dots of Ranger "Glossy Accents" to the holly berries and to the eye of the robin.
