This evening I was in limbo, there was nothing on TV to interest me, so I took my self off to the craft room making this card.
I found a Brusho paint background in my file that I felt had a water feel to it, so that was the direction I took using a selection of Lavinia Stamps, stamped in Versafine Clair "Shady Lane" green ink and "Twilight" dark blue ink. I inked the edges of the card using "Villainous Potion" Distress Oxide ink.
The Lavinia Stamps I used are: Urchins, Shoal of Fish, Sea Bubbles and Marine Kelp. I also used a Lavinia word sticker saying "turn the tide" which is part of thier Sentiment Stickers 6 set.
I used Pastel Pencils to colour and shade areas, a white and a silver glitter gel pen and a 2B pencil.
This is a wonderful underwater scene Sam and the colours look great with the shoal of fish amongst the sea kelp and the urchins on the sea bed, and I love the way you add all those extra little touches which give the card design individuality. x
ReplyDeleteSam this is stunning and I wish I had more hours in the day to follow your craft inspirations.. xx
