Lavinia Stamps "Charming Stencil" with "Zenith" and the "Urchins"

Today was an exciting post day as I received my order of six brand new 8x8" stencil from Lavinia Stamps.  

I hadn't planned to play with them, as there are other things that I should be doing, but I couldn't help myself, making this card. 

I've used "Zenith" mermaid as the main feature, heat embossed in silver Wow! Silver embossing powder.  I then used the new "Charming" stencil with various shades of Distress oxide inks.

I used the Lavinia Stamps "Urchins", "Sea Bubbles", "Sea Algae" and "Zen Plant" for the undergrowth

Funky Fossil "Indian Mandala Stencil" Anniversary Card

I've made a quick anniversary card this morning using the Funky Fossil "Indian Mandala Stencil" with three shades of Distress Oxide Inks (Salvaged Patina, Peacock Feathers and Mermaid Lagoon).

I've used a sentiment from the "Essential Sentiments" by "My Favourite Things", stamped in "Warm Breeze" Distress Oxide Ink and then die cut into a banner.  Finally, I added some touches of gold to areas of the card using a metallic gold pen.

Funky Fossil "Funky Fruit" (Have a pearfect day card)

I've been playing with the Funky Fossil "Funky Fruit" stamp set that I have paired with the Funky Fossil "Pearfect" stencil. 

I've used "Bundled Sage" Distress Oxide ink through the "Pearfect" stencil.  Stamped the pear in Versafine Vintage Sepia ink and coloured it with various shades of Distress Oxide Inks and Sakura and Signo pens.

I've used Wow! clear embossing ink and Wow! Rich Gold embossing powder for the sentiment.

Funky Fossil "In The Meadow" Card

Today has been a day when none of my crafting attempts have turned out, all ending in the bin.  I did however save a small off cut of a Brusho background and after having dinner decided to make a quick little card, which I am happy with.

Over the Brusho background, I used the Funky Fossil "Fern Silhouette Background Stencil" with "Abandoned Coral" Distress Oxide Ink.

I used the Funky Fossil "In The Meadow" stamp set for the flowers, stamped in Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink.

Finally, I used a sentiment from the Funky Fossil "Small Print" stamp set, stamped in Versafine Clair "Nocturne" ink.  I used the same ink to edge the card before mounting it on black card and then a white card blank.

Funky Fossil Designs "Mwah" stencil card

I've had a play with one of the new Funky Fossil Designs stencils called "Mwah"!, coloured with "Candied Apple" Distress Oxide Ink. paired with the Funky Fossil "Graphic Words" stamp set, stamped in Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink.

"Hello Birthday Girl" Card

I've been on a mission with housework today, but decided to have half an hour off at my craft desk. 

Some months ago, I made a bokeh stylecard using various sizes of circles.  I had a thought that using the  "Funky Fossil Party Balloon Stencil" with the same technique would make a good background for a birthday card, so decided to have a play.

I used assorted colours of Distress Oxide Inks through the stencil (Squeezed Lemonade, Wild Honey, Spiced Marmalade, Ripe Persimmon, Abandoned Coral and Picked Raspberry), starting with the lightest colour, working through to the darkest, until I had covered the whole area.

I used a Waffle Flower "Over Hello Sized Word Die" cut in pink card and adhered over the balloon background.  The sentiment is also by Waffle Flower and is part of their "Oversized Hello" sentiment set stamped in Versafine Clair "Purple Delight" ink.

Funky Fossil Designs "Ferns" Dies release day

Funky Fossil Designs are launching several new products this Friday, 18th June 2021, including stamps, patterned papers, dies and washi tape. 

For this sample I have used a sheed of the new patterned paper called "Neutrals" for the base. I have then die cut some ferns and adhered to the patterned paper.

I stamped a snail on to white card, using the Funky Fossil "Snail Mail" stamp set.  I then coloured it with Distress Oxide Inks and a Sakura sparkly pen.  I then adhered to the card.

Finally, I added the "You Snailed it" sentiment (also from the Snail Mail stamp set) stamped in Versafine Clair "Shady Lane" green ink and added Ranger Glossy Accents to the shell and eyes of the snail.
