Day 18 of Karen Telfer's "24 Days of Tags 2022' Challenge

Back to tagging along with Karen Telfers "24 Days of Tags 2022" challenge and this is my interpretation of her Day 18 tag.  You can find Karen's tutorial on this link.

I splattered white paint on to the background of a kraft tag blank, tearing a section from a book for the background detail and stuck it to the tag.  I used "Tea Dye" Distress Oxide Inks to colour the white leaves and then stuck them into position.

I used "Walnut Stain" Distress Oxide Ink around the edges of the tag.

In my box of stash, I found some small beige coloured flowers which I glued into position, adding white pearl sticky dots to their centres.

Using green and white Bakers Twine, I wrapped it around the tag, before tying into a bow.

So really all the elements on this tag are bits and bobs that I have rescued over the years and kept for that "just in case moment".

I found a couple of white paper roses with a wire stem.  I wrapped the stems around a narrow paint brush to create the spiral and then slid it off the handle and glued them into position.

Funky Fossil Designs New Stamp Set "Celestial" Release Day

It's the release day for another new Funky Fossil Designs stamp set.  This one is called "Celestial" and is available in the on-line shop from today.

For the central area, I have used "Tumbled Glass" Distress Oxide Ink for the background.  I then mounted this on to a square of Kraft card.

I have used stamped from the new "Celestial" stamp set, stamped in Wow! clear embossing ink, then covered in Wow! Rich Gold super fine embossing powder and heat set

Funky Fossil Designs New Stamp Preview Hochanda TV May 2020 - Bee Geometric

Funky Fossil Designs will be appearing on Hochanda TV tomorrow, Sunday 10th May with a selection of lovely goodies which include some new clear stamp sets.

This is a sample I have made for the show using the new "Bee Geometric" clear stamp set.

I started with a piece of kraft cardstock and the Funky Fossil "Floral Honeycomb" stencil using Mustard Seed Distress Oxide ink through the stencil.

I then used "Antique Linen" Distress Oxide ink through the Funky Fossil "Micro Dot" stencil in the opposite corners.

I stamped the bee and the sentiment using Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink.  I coloured the bees using Sakura Gelly Roll and Signo Glitter pens.  Finally, to add the impression of the bee flight path, I used the Funky Fossil "Dotty Circle Background" stencil, just selecting a few dots, colouring them using a fine tip black pen.

Design Team Make for "My Time To Craft Challenge Blog" #398 Kraft

It's time for another challenge on the "My Time To Craft Challenge Blog" . Challenge #398 has a theme of "Kraft".  If you have a moment, please do pop over and take a look at the fab makes my Design Team colleagues have produced.

I decided to use Kraft card as the base and used a Tim Holtz Distress Ink in the shade of "Barn Door" through a Funky Fossil "Orb" Stencil.

I stamped the Papertrey Ink sentiment in Versafine Clair "Nocturne" ink.  Finally, I die cut a flower in black card using the Sizzix/Tim Holtz Thinlits set called "Wild Flower Stems #1".

Visible Image Stamps on Kraft Card - Birthday Card and Gift Bag

I'm not a huge fan of kraft card for stamping as it tends not to be the best surface for stamping on, but decided to stretch myself by using it to play with some new stamps I purchased at the weekend.  To stretch myself further, I thought I would make a card for a male - foolish Sam!

I stamped the Visible Image "Fibonacci" grid/swirl using Versafine Clair "Glamorous" onto the kraft card.  Using Versafine Clair "Nocturne", I stamped the fish and the word "Rebel" from their "Art Rebel" set.  Finally, I inked the edges in black ink and added a few touches of gold pen.

I was in need of some male gift wrap, but didn't have anything suitable, so decided to adapt a brown paper bag I had put by.  On two pieces of Kraft card I used black Versafine ink through the Visible Image "Strobe" Stencil.  I then used stamps from the grid/curve from the Visible Image set called "Fibonacci" stamped in Versafine Clair "Glamorous".  I made a matching tag using the same strobe stencil

Week 12 - 52 Week Mini Art Card / Tag Challenge 2019

The prompt for Week 12 is "Kraft".

For some reason my kraft cardstock was in hiding, so I used a piece of brown paper to cover a tag instead.  For a previous project I had tea stained some book pages, so I decided to tear one up and apply over the kraft base.

Using a small script stamp from a Stampin' Up set called "By The Tide" I stamped the writing in various positions using Versafine "Vintage Sepia" Ink.  From the same set, there was a stamp with some coral, so I stamped that in Versafine Clair "Chianti" ink.

I stamped the Woodware "Teasels - JGS329" on to the tag, using Versafine Clair "Acorn" shade of ink.  I then inked the edges of the tag in a red and a black ink.  Finally, I added a little bit of co-ordinating trim, some metallic sequins and a tea-stained piece of string to hang the tag.

There is also a challenge Facebook Group, where members share their creations to the weekly prompt albums and chat about crafting.  It would be fab if you could join in too.  The more the merrier.  Sam x

Design Team Make - 5th October 2018 (Kraft Card) My Time To Craft Challenge #380

This is my make for the "My Time To Craft"  5th October 2018 challenge working to a prompt of "Kraft Card".

For my card, I have used a Kraft base.  I have die cut four decorative layers using a Spellbinders die set (I've had it for years, so I don't recall the name, sorry).  I positioned them some flat on the larger layer and others elevated with foam pads.

Before I stuck the smallest layer,  I used a stamp from the Stampin' Up set called "Petite Pairs" stamped in a sepia shade of Versafine Ink.

Finally, I die cut some foliage in green card and added it with the flowers to the top right hand corner of the card.

Studio Sketches Cards

I purchased a set of Stampin' Up stamps, called "Studio Sketches" from ebay for a bargain price of 99p recently.  Having woken early again today, I decided to do something with them, stamping onto kraft cardstock and die cutting with a stitched edge.
