Visible Image "Antisocial Butterfly" card

On the Country View Crafts facebook page the theme for their January 2024 challenge is "Be Wordy", so I decided to make a card for the challenge. As I hadn't used my Visible Image stamps and stencils for a while, I decided to use them.

I used Versafine Clair "Medieval Blue" ink to stamp the main central image, using the Visible Image "Antisocial Butterfly" stamp set.  I coloured the butterfly using two shades of Derwent Inktense pencils, using "Cadmium Yellow" and "Persian Red" shades.

I overstamped the butterfly using the "crazed butterfly" which is part of the Visible Image "Antisocial Butterfly" stamp set, stamped in Versafine Clair "Blue Belle" ink.

I used "Chrome Yellow" Ranger Archival Ink through two areas of the Visilbe Image S"trobes Stencil".

Next, I used "Monarch Orange" Ranger Archival Ink through the Visible Image "Breakout Stencil".

Through the Visible Image "Supernova Stencil", I used "Pebble Beach" Ranger Archival Ink.

I then used the nesting circles in the Visible Image "Off The Grid Stenicl" with Ranger "Shadow Grey" ink.

For the small dots in the top left and bottom right corner, I used the Visible Image "Two Tone" stencil with "Monarch Orange" Ranger Archival Ink.

In the bottom left and top right edges, I stamped the Visible Image "Grunge Flourish" using Versafine Clair "Medieval Blue" ink.  I used the same ink to stamp the two words "Antisocial Butterfly" which are also part of the Visible Image "Antisocial Butterfly" stamp set.

Next, I used Versafine Clair "Morning MIst" grey ink to stamp the "Transform" and "Metamorphis" which are both part of the Visible Image "Wings of Change" stamp set.

Finally, I inked the edges of the card using Versafine Clair "Medieval Blue" ink.  I used a blue Posca Pen to colour in some of the stamped circles, then mounted the card on to dark blue card and then on to a white card blank.

Visible Image "Night Owl" Birthday Card

I have played with a Visible Image stencil and stamp set to create this card for a male birthday.

I used Distress Oxide Inks (Antique Linen, Stormy Sky and Blueprint Sketch),to create the background below the strobe, by swooshing the card through the ink.  I then used the "Chipped Sapphire" Distress ink through the Visible Image "Strobe" stencil.

I used the owl image from the Visible Image set called "Night Owl" to stamp over the strobe background using Versafine ink.

I swooshed a piece of  white card with the owl image through three shades of Distress Oxide inks (Antique Linen, Tea Dye and Rusty Hinge), drying with a heat gun.  I then stamped the owl image on this coloured background using Versafine Clair "Acorn" brown ink.  I coloured the owl using a Sakura Gelly Roll pen in a copper colour.  I also added some white highlights to the eye area.  Finally I fussy cut the image and adhered it over the stamped image on the strobe background.

I used a white Posca pen on the lighter areas of the strobe along with a silver glitter Signo Pen and a black fine liner pen, adding dots of colour.

I mounted the image onto blue card and then onto a white card blank, adding a stamped sentiment using a sentiment from a Personal Impressions set called "Double Sayings", stamped in Versafine Clair "Nocturne" ink.

Visible Image Stamps on Kraft Card - Birthday Card and Gift Bag

I'm not a huge fan of kraft card for stamping as it tends not to be the best surface for stamping on, but decided to stretch myself by using it to play with some new stamps I purchased at the weekend.  To stretch myself further, I thought I would make a card for a male - foolish Sam!

I stamped the Visible Image "Fibonacci" grid/swirl using Versafine Clair "Glamorous" onto the kraft card.  Using Versafine Clair "Nocturne", I stamped the fish and the word "Rebel" from their "Art Rebel" set.  Finally, I inked the edges in black ink and added a few touches of gold pen.

I was in need of some male gift wrap, but didn't have anything suitable, so decided to adapt a brown paper bag I had put by.  On two pieces of Kraft card I used black Versafine ink through the Visible Image "Strobe" Stencil.  I then used stamps from the grid/curve from the Visible Image set called "Fibonacci" stamped in Versafine Clair "Glamorous".  I made a matching tag using the same strobe stencil
