Sweet Poppy Stencils "Dragonfly Blooms" Card

This is another card started in the caravan at the weekend and finished off at home.

I've used the Sweet Poppy Stencil stamp set called "Dragonfly Blooms", stamped in Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink in second generation stamping, so that I had a very pale outline of the image.

I coloured the stamped image using Derwent Inktense pencils applied with a paint brush.  I used a 2B pencil to add shading and a white Signo Pen to add highlights. I also used a metallic silver pen for the beads and chain.

The "Just for you" sentiment is by Lavinia Stamps and is part of their "Heartfelt Verse" sentiment set, stamped in Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink.

Lavinia Stamps "Bell Flower Vine" Birthday Card

I made a quick birthday card this morning, using water colour card as the base.  I spritzed it both sides so that it would lay flat, then used a wash (on the top two thirds) of three shades of Lavinia Stamps Elements Inks, using Blue Lagoon, Blue Atoll and Della Blue.

I ueds a heat gun to dry the surface then stamped the Lavinia Stamps "Bell Flower Vine" in Versafine Clair "Shady Lane" green ink.  I then stamped the birthday sentiment, which is part of the "Heartfelt Verse" stamp set in Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink

Finally, I coloured the vine using Derwent Inktense water colour pencils applied with a brush, adding a few dots of metallic silver glitter Signo Pen around the vine.

Lavinia Stamps "Dancing Till Dawn" Card

Today I've opted to make a card with white space.

I've used two shades of Ranger Archival Ink (Vivid Chartreuse and Sky Blue) through the Lavinia Stamps "Ambiance" stencil fading the colour out towards the edges to create the background.

Using Versafine Clair "Twilight" dark blue ink, I stamped the Lavinia "Dancing Till Dawn" fairies. I created a landscape for them to stand on using Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink, using the same ink to stamp the "Heartfelt Verse" sentiment.

Continuing my play wih the new Lavinia Stamps stencils, I made this card.

Using the "Divine" stencil I partially heat embossed a section of the card using Wow! Embossing ink and their "Mistletoe Magic" embossing powder.

Using Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink to stamp the "Wild Poppies" and the sentiment, which is part of the "Heartfelt Verse" stamp set.

Lavinia Stamps "Eden" on an "Ambiance" stencilled background

I was stalking the Postman this morning, waiting for the delivery of my Lavinia Stamps order of the new stencils, released last Friday.  Fortunately, I didn't have too long to wait and made this card.

I used the Lavinia "Lime Punch" Elements ink through their new "Ambiance" stencil for the background.

I stamped the Lavinia "Eden" the fairy, Pipin and the "Heartfelt Verse" sentiment in Versafine Clair "Twilight" dark blue ink.

I have continued to play with heat embossing on and off today.  Here's another card from the session.

It's a simple card using the Lavinia Stamps "Elegance" stencil with Wow! Embossing "Sea Mist" Embossing Powder which I've heat set. It has a lovely sheen.

I've used the "Heartfelt Verse" sentiment, staped in Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink.

Lavinia Stamps "Heartfelt Verse" heat embossed birthday card

This morning, I have been heat embossing, creating this card. Unfortunately the sparkle doesn't really show very well in the photograph, so I took a little clip of it in the sunshine.

I've used three Lavinia Stamps for this card.  "Heartfelf Verse" for the central sentiment.  In the background I have used two Lavinia pound stamps, the "Mini Orbs" and the "Mini Dots".

I have used Wow! Embossin ink pad and "Rich Gold" embosing powder.  I have also used a Papermania "Enchanted Gold" embossing powder, which gave a little sparkle to the central area of embossing on the blue section.

I thought I would try something a bit different today, so have used Kraft card as a base and pastel pencils for colouring.

Lavinia Stamps "Fairy Thistles" Tag

Sorting through a box of Brusho off-cuts from previous projects, I came across one that was large enough to make a tag out of. It had a streak of orange going from one corner to the other, with some hints of pink too, so that dictated the colour scheme for this project.

I decided to fill some of the plain white areas using "Picked Raspberry" Distress Oxide Ink.  I then lay the Lavinia Stamps "Leaf Trails" stencil over the top, applying "Wilted Violet" Distress Oxide Ink through the stencil. I then used a fan shaped paint brush to sprinkle fine droplets of water over the surface and blotted dry.

I stamped the Lavinia Stamps "Fairy Thistle" and the "Heartfelt Verse" sentiment in Versafine Clair "Purple Delight" ink.

I used an assortment of items to colour the thistles, Derwent Inktense Pencils, a fine liner and assorted normal and glitter gel pens.
