Lavinia Stamps "Foliage Stencil" Just For You Card

In total contrast to my previous "busy" looking card, I've made this simple card using the Lavinia Stamps "Foliage Stencil" with "Bundled Sage" Distress Oxide Ink.

I have stamped the "Berry Leaves" and the "Heartfelft Verse" sentiment in "Shady Lane" Versafine Clair ink.  I added white highlights to the leaves using a gel pen.  Finally adding some pearls to the leaves to imitate white berries.

Day 16 of the "24 Days of Tags Challenge 2021" with Karen Telfer

I'm playing catch up with my tags, as I've been away in the caravan this weekend, so this is the first of three that I need to make to be back on track.

I've used four shades of Distress Oxide Inks for the background:  Squeezed Lemonade, Dried Marigold, Abandoned Coral and Festive Berries.

I spritzed the surface of a Lavinia Stamps stencil called "Foliage" with water, then lay it wet side down, over the tag.  I used a kitchen towel to absorb any surplus water then lifted the stencil, which reveals a bleached look image of the stencil. I then used a heat gun to dry the surface.

Once dry, I stamped the sentiment, by Lavinia Stamps, called "Heartfelt Verse" in Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink.  I used the same ink to stamp the Lavinia Stamps "Wild Vines" too.

Next, I stamped the hanging hearts, which are part of the Lavinia Stamps "Fairy Charms" stamp set, using Versafine Clair "Glamorous" pink ink.  I then added small white dots on the surface of the background and highlighting areas on the hanging hearts.

Lavinia Stamps "Whimsical Hares" Second Birthday Card

Here's a birthday card I've made using a selection of goodies from Lavinia Stamps.

I created the circle background using a circle mask with Lavinia Stamps Elements "Bermuda" and "Mermaid" through their "Foliage Stencil".

I stamped the hares around the edge of the circle, using the Lavinia Stamps "Whimsical Hares" stamp set and Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink.

Around the edge of the circle and the hares, I multi stamped one of the Lavinia floral pound stamps in Versafine Clair "Warm Breeze" ink.  I added touches of orange to some of the larger flowers using a Posca Pen.

I die cut a number two and coloured it with an orange Posca Pen, I then added spots to the the die cut number using a white Gelly Roll pen.  While I had the pen in my hand, I also added highlights to the hares.

Finally, I stamped the sentiment , which is part of the Lavinia Stamps "Heartfelf Verst" stamp set in "Warm Breeze" Versafine Clair ink.

Lavinia Stamps "Wren" on a gel plate and stencilled background

This evening I have had another play with my Lavinia Stamps, this time using the Lavinia "Foliage" stencil with Versafine Clair "Verdant" green ink over the top of gel plate and Brusho background I had created some time back.

I stamped the Lavinia fairy "Wren" using Versafine Clair "Monarch" purple ink, highlighting her edges, wings and hair with a white Signo Pen, Sakura shimmer pen and Signo glitter pens.

The sentiment is by Simon Says Stamp and is part of their "Tiny Words - Birthday" stamp set.

Lavinia Stamps "Blackberry" Tag

A couple of days ago, Lavinia Stamps released 21 new stamp designs to purchase.  I ordered them all and they arrived today.  After cataloguing them on my spreadsheet, I got down to play.

The "Blackberry" stamp took my fancy for my first make using the new stamps, hence the tag above.

For the background, I cut a piece of white card into a tag.  I then covered it with "Bundled Sage" Distress Oxide Ink.  I then lay the Lavinia Stamps "Foliage" stencil over the tag and used the same ink with a blending brush, which gave a tonal look to the background.

I stamped the blackberry image in Versafine Clair "Shady Lane" green ink and then coloured the image using various shades of Distress Oxide Inks applied with a paint brush.
