Lavinia Stamps "Maka the wolf"" and the owl card

I don't usually make cards for other people.  I don't like the pressure it puts me under and there is obviously the fear of disappointment that I've not made what they wanted.

Last night I received a message asking if I could make a wolf card for a special occasion in a month.  I reluctantly agreed.  As I was up early this morning, I decided to make the card, so it was done and out of the way, instead of me spending time fretting about it.  This is the card I made.

I used a spray ink Dylusion spray ink background from my stash that I had made some months previously. I used my Van Goch Pastel Pencils to add a bit more colour to a few areas too.

I used Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink with an assortment of Lavinia Stamps, including "Maka the wolf", Woodland Fern, The Red Pines and Foliage Set. I also used Gel and Posca Pens for colour and highlights.

I used a sentiment from a Simon Says Stamp set called "Tiny Words Encouragement" also stamped in "Nocturne" black ink.

Lavinia Stamps "Bria Rose" on a "Leaf Mask" background

This morning, I have been playing with one of the older Lavinia Stamps, called "Briar Rose" which I have paired with the "Leaf Mask/Stencil". 

I used two shades of Distress Oxide Inks (Saltwater Taffy and Iced Spruce) through the Lavinia Stamps "Leaf Mask/Stencil".

Using Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink, I stamped the fairy, called "Briar Rose", I then grounded her using the same ink with a stencil brush.

Using Versafine Clair "Nocturne" in both first and second generation stamping, I stamped the "Willow" and the "Foliage".

Finally adding touches of a white gel pen and silver glitter pen.

Funky Fossil "In The Meadow" Card

Today has been a day when none of my crafting attempts have turned out, all ending in the bin.  I did however save a small off cut of a Brusho background and after having dinner decided to make a quick little card, which I am happy with.

Over the Brusho background, I used the Funky Fossil "Fern Silhouette Background Stencil" with "Abandoned Coral" Distress Oxide Ink.

I used the Funky Fossil "In The Meadow" stamp set for the flowers, stamped in Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink.

Finally, I used a sentiment from the Funky Fossil "Small Print" stamp set, stamped in Versafine Clair "Nocturne" ink.  I used the same ink to edge the card before mounting it on black card and then a white card blank.

Hero Arts Stamps "High Heels" Birthday Card

I had a mini tidy up of one of my craft drawers and came across card components I'd created some time ago, so I paired a couple of them up to make this card.

The central shoe image is on a blended Distress Oxide ink background.  The shoe is created using the Hero Arts "High Heels - CL303)" clear stamp set.  The sentiment is by Simon Says Stamp " Tiny Words - Birthday" set, both stamped in Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink.

The background is made using "Tea Dye" Distress Oxide ink through the Funky Fossil "Burlap Texture Stencil".

Funky Fossil Scandi Garden on Lovely Leaves Card

Here's a card I made for a friend who has always had an ear for me. 

I've used the Funky Fossil "Scandi Garden" stamp set, stamped in Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink.

In the background, I have "Worn Lipstick" Distress Oxide Ink through the Funky Fossil "Lovely Leaves" stencil" darker on one edge, fading to white on the other.

Funky Fossil "Guitar Hero" Birthday Card

Sorry for my blog absence for the past week, I've been busy creating samples for Funky Fossil which I can't share with you yet.

I've made this card using the Funky Fossil "Guitar Hero" stamp set, stamped on a Brusho background.  The sentiment I've used is from a Simon Says Stamp set called "Clean Line Everyday" greetings.  All stamping was done in Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink.

Day 8 #thedailymarker30day Colouring Challenge using Hero Arts "Dolls" Stamp set

Day 8 of #thedailymarker30day colouring challenge.  I've used the Hero Arts "Dolls - CL289" stamp set with the Hero Arts "Birthday Sayings - CL340" set, stamped in Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink, which has provided a beautiful clear stamped image.  I've coloured the Russian Dolls using Posca Pens.
