Tracy Evans Boutique Designs ""Good Things Take Time TE60" Flower Card

For this card, I used the flower from the Tracy Evans Boutique Designs "Good Things Take Time TE60" stamp set, stamped in Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink. I then painted the flower heads with Pebeo Drawing Gum to mask them from getting ink on them.

I then worked on the background, using the Tracy Evans "Circular ST6 Stencil" with "Sky Blue" Ranger Archival ink, colouring in three different sized circles. I then used the same ink with the Tracy Evans "Flurry SS43 Stencil" to add dots across the surface.

Next, I used "Shadow Gray" Ranger Archival Ink through the Tracy Evans "Distressed Background SS31 stencil" to create the diamonds. I deliberately left a relatively open space to the middle right of the flower so that I can add a sentiment at a later date.

I rubbed off the drawing gum then added shados to the flowers and to the diamonds to provide a more 3D look.  Finally, adding colour to the flowers by using a paint brush to apply Derwent Inktense pencils.

Tracy Evans Boutique Designs "Lightbulb SS8" Lightbulb and Hares Card

A late evening play session, making this card.  I used a background I made a couple of days ago using Paperartsy  Fresco Finish Chalk Acrylic Paints for the background, using "Peach Nectar" and "Candy Floss" shades of paint.

I used the Tracy Evans "Lightbulb SS8 Stencil" with "Abandoned Coral" and "Spun Sugar"  Distress Oxide Inks to colour the lgihtbulb.  I added shadow using "Weathered Wood" Distress Oxide Ink, with areas of white Posca Pen and black fine liner pen.

In the background, I used the Tracy Evans "Distressed Diamonds Background SS31" stencil with Versaifne Clair "Morning MIst" grey ink. within the lightbulb, I created a ground using the torn edge of a piece of paper and more "Morning Mist" ink.  I used a white pencil to create a moon circle, filling it in with white and a touch of 2B pencil.

Next I stamped the hares using Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink, the hares are part of the Tracy Evans "Berries TE55" stamp set.  Using the same ink and text from the same stamp set, I stamped the text down the right hand side of the card.

I then stamped the tree branches in "Nocturne" black ink.  They are part of the Tracy Evans "Silhouettes TE38" stamp set.  Using the same ink, I stamped the bird, which is part of the Tracy Evans "Amongst The Flowers TE61" stamp set.

Finally, I added blossom to the tree branches using a white and pale pink Posca Pen.  Added extre details with 2B Pencil and a black fine liner and added a splatter of white Posca Pen dots too.

Tracy Evans Boutique Designs "Blossoms Of Hope TE62" flower pot card

I escaped to the craft room to have a play, but even in there is it warm, so I've made this card in two stages.  Hope you're coping ok with the heat.

I started off with a piece of white card measuring 4x4".  Using Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink, I stamped the large flower pot, the seed tag and the pot plant.  All of these are part of the same Tracy Evans Boutique Designs stamp set called Blossoms Of Hope TE62".

I coloured the image using the following Distress Oxide Inks, applied with a paint brush. Antique Linen, Dried Marigold, Shabby Shutters, Tea Dye and Walnut Stain, I then used Versafine Clair "Morning MIst" grey ink, very lightly through the Tracy Evans "Distressed Background SS31 stencil". I then moved on to adding more details.  I used the same ink to stamp the months on the seed tag and the word grow.  They are part of the Tracy Evans "Special Delivery TE64" stamp set.

I then stamped the snail using Versafine Clair "Acorn" and the feather, using Versafine Clair "Portobello" brown ink.  Both these are part of the same stamp set, the Tracy Evans "Love Grows Here TE65" set.

Finally, using Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink, I stmapsed the "Inspired by nature" sentiment, which is part of the Tracy Evans "Blossoms of Hope TE62" stamp set.  I used Pastel Pencils to colour the flower and to add shading along with a gold and a white coloured gel pen.

Tracy Evans Boutique Designs "Create Your Own Story TE51" Flower and Boots Artist Trading Card

This is my Artist Trading Card (ATC) for the day. I've used a small gel press background I had in my stash for the base of this ATC.  Stamping the flower, boots and bird in Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink. The boots and flower are part of the Tracy Evans Boutique Designs "Create Your Own Story TE51" stamp set and the bird is from her "A Promise Of Tomorrow TE63" stamp set

Following on from the technique I used yesterday, I used a 2B pencil and paper stub for the shading on the stamped areas, adding a touch of yellow Derwent Inktense pencil to the middle of the flowers.  I used Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink very lightly through the Tracy Evans Boutique Designs ""Distressed Background SS31" stencil to create the light coloured diamonds in the background.

Tracy Evans Boutique Designs "A Promise of Tomorrow TE63" Rudbeckia Pencil Card

I couldn't sleep last night, so got up and watched a Tracy Evans Youtube demonstration using pencils and paper stumps for blending.  I decided to give it a go, resulting in this card. I've used different stamps, but the basics are the same.

Here's the link to the Youtube tutorail if  you want to have a go:  https://youtu.be/d-46Mg6lkbI?si=rljP_1jqQkcZlSUZ

Using Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink, I stamped the flower from the Tracy Evans Boutique Designs stamp set called ""A Promise Of Tomorrow TE63".  I used a 2B pencil and a paper stub to shade and blend to achieve depth within the stamp.

In the background, I very lightly applied Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" through the Tracy Evans Boutique Designs "Distressed Element SS31" stencil.

I then used Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink again to stamp the little bird at the base of the flower, the word  "Rudbeckia", both part of the "A Promise Of Tomorrow TE63" stamp set.  I used the same ink to finger stamp part of the text from the Tracy Evans Boutique Designs "Background Elements TE11" stamp.

I added grounding and more pencil and paper stub blending to areas, before splattering white Posca Pen over the surface of the card.

Tracy Evans Boutique Designs "Love Grows Here TE65" Feathers Artist Trading Card

Apologies, this is a bit too vibrant for the morning!  I found a gel press off cut in my stash, so decided to use that as the base for my daily Artist Trading Card (ATC).

I used a Wow! Clear Embossing Pad to stamp the feathers on to the card base, the feathers are part of the Tracy Evans "Love Grows Here TE65" stamp set, then coated with Wow! Angel Eyes Embossing Powder.  I repeated the process for the three feathers then used the heat gun to set the embossing powder.

I then lay the Tracy Evans "Distressed Background (diamonds) SS31" stencil over the top of the card and applied "Chipped Sapphire" Distress Oxide Ink through the stencil..

I added some line work to the embossed feathers using a black fine liner pen then added dots to the background, using a gold coloured gel pen.  Finally, I added a Tim Holtz "Idea-ology" word sticker saying "Use your wings".

Tracy Evans Boutique Designs "Special Delivery - TE64" Wild Flowers Card

Another make from me today with this card. I masked off rectangles of colour, and applied Ranger Archival Inks through the masked areas. using Pink Peony, Vibrant Fuschia and Cactus Flower shades of ink.

I then used "Sky Blue" Ranger Archival ink through the Tracy Evans "Distressed Diamonds SS31 Stencil" in a couple of areas. I used Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black innk to stamp the flowers, sentiment and blocks of numbers, all are part of the Tracy Evans ""Special Delivery - TE64" stamp set.

I added white dots to the mid coloured rectangle, black dots around the flower base and drwen three circles.  Finally adding some sticky backed dots to the edge of the big circle.
