Lavinia Stamps "Fairy Pods" and "Pixy Houses"

I've used three of the Lavinia Stamps on this card: Small Pixy Houses, Flower Pods and Woodland Ferns.

I have also used the Tree Branch, Foliage Set, Fairy Bell Set and the Wild Hare Set from the exisiting range of Lavinia Stamps. All stamping is in Versafine Clair Inks.

The background was originally various shades of Distress Oxide Inks, which I have enhanced with touches of Pan Pastels, Van Goch Pastel Pencils.  I have also used Gelly Roll and Posca Pens.

Lavinia Stamps "Seeing is believing" Fairy Card

Here's a card I made using the new Lavinia Stamps "Woodland Fern" Stamp Set and the "Seeing is believing" fairy.  Extra "Dandelions and I have also used the "See a fairy make a wish" verse stamp.

Stamping in black using Versafine Clair "Nocturne".  The other is "Peacock Feather" Distress Ink.

Stampers Anonymous "Crazy Dogs CMS271" Birthday Card

One of our favourite little people will be celebrating his fourth birthday next week.  This is the card I made for him.

For the main image, I have used the Stampers Anonymous "Crazy Dogs CMS271" red rubber/cling set, stamped in Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink.

I have coloured the image using a mix of Distress Oxide Inks, applied with a paint brush and Van Goch Pastel Pencils.

The sentiment is part of the Hobby Art Ltd set called "Greetings for Friends CS158D".

The "4th" is par of a Docrafts Forever Friends stamp set.

Lavinia Stamps "Hare in the Woodland Ferns"

A quick play with another one of the new Lavinia Stamps, this time it's the "Woodland Ferns" which I am sure will feature regularly in my future makes!

First, I stamped the "Woodland Ferns" in first and second generation stamping using Versafine Clair "Shady Lane" green ink.

I then stamped the hare, part of the "Wild Hare" stamp set in two shades of Versafine Clair Inks "Acorn" and "Pinecone" which are shades of brown ink.

I then used two shades of Distress Oxide Inks (Iced Spruce and Victorian Velvet) through the Lavinia "Tall Leaf Mask".

I added touches of yellow to the fern area using a Posca Pen and white highlights to the hare using a Gelly Roll Pen, before stamping the "Heartfelt Verse" sentiment in Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink.

Lavinia Stamps "Forest Inn" Tag

Today I received my order of the seven new Lavinia Stamps, so after I had listed them on my spreadsheet and filed them away in their correct sections, I pulled one out to use... it would have been rude not to!

For the background, I used a piece of card that I had used to mop up blue and pink inks from a previous project, and cut it into a tag shape.

I stamped the new "Forest Inn" (toadstool house) in Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink.  I then stamped it again on a post-it note and cut around the shape to make a mask, (after I have used the masks, I retain them for future use).

Laying the mask over the image on the tag, I created the landscape and then stamped the trees, using the "Red Pine" trees in first and second generation stamping using Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink.  Using the same ink, I stamped the "Path".  In the foreground I stamped the "Creeping Vine", the "Small Branch" and foliage.

I used Distress Oxide Inks and Van Goch Pastel Pencils to colour the scene, adding touches of gelly roll pen and Posca Pens too

Penny Black "Skyward 40-500" on a Brusho background

Sometimes, I find it nice to have a play without any agenda, no planning, just seeing what I end up with when I'm done. This is one of those makes.

I had a quick Brusho play session, thowing colours down and seeing what I ended up with.  Once dry, I really couldn't think how I could use it.  But decided to stamp the tree, which is a Penny Black cling stamp called "Skyward 40-500" in Versafine Clair Nocturne, black ink.  I then coated it in Wow! Clear Embossing Powder and heat set.

The more I look at this, the more it reminds me of a church window!

Lavinia Stamps "Dragon Pods on Kraft card

I thought I would try something a bit different today, so have used Kraft card as a base and pastel pencils for colouring.

I stamped the Lavinia Stamps "Dragon Pods" using Versafine Clair "Golden Meadow".  This allowed me to see the outline of the stamped image, without it being too obvious.

I then used Van Goch Pastel Pencils and two shades of Gelly Roll pens to colour the image.

I stamped the "Heartfelt Verse" sentiment using versasfine Clair "Shady Lane" greey ink.
