Visible Image "Snowman Jack Penguin" Christmas Card

I'm back from a night away at the caravan and couldn't get back quick enough to craft while Hubby watches the World Cup Football games.

I started this card, by using Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink to stamp the penguin, part of the Visible Image "Snowman Jack" stamp set.  I then used a post-it note and stamped the penguin again, cutting out the shape of the penguin and then popping in position over the stamped image.

I used the Visible Image "Breaking Glass Stencil" with a selection of Archival Inks to create the background colour.  I started with the darkest in the middle and worked my way out, these are the colours I used Cobalt, Watering Can, Forget-me-not, Sky Blue, Pink Peony and Shadow Grey.  I coloured the edges of the card with Versafine Clair "Warm Breeze" Ink.

I removed the mask from the pengin and coloured him using Derwent Inktense wate colour pencils applied with a paint brush.  I used a 2B pencil to ground the penguin.

I used Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink to stamp the words.  The Brrr! was part of the "Snowman Jack" stamp set.  The "Merry Christmas" was part of another Visible Image stamp set called "Christmas Chaos.

I then mounted the image on to a white card blank.  Finally, using a Signo Silver Glitter pen, I went around all the cracked pieces of ice. I also added some sparkle to the penguin and to the edges of the card.

Lavinia Stamps "Astrid and the Wild Vines" Card

Today I have played with a Lavinia Stamp which I rarely use "Astrid".  I think it is because it is such a stand alone stamp which tends to get pushed to the end of the box.  Today she saw the light of day!

I used two shades of Versafine Clair Ink to stamp the "Wild Vines" and "Astrid", they were "Warm Breeze" and "Twilight".  I used Posca Pens and Van Goch Pastel Pencils to colour "Astrid".  I also added touches of silver glitter to her hair using a Signo pen and also to some of the vines.  Unfortunately, it doesn't show very well.

I used Wow! super fine silver embossing powder and their clear ink pad to stamp the "Just for you" sentiment, which is part of the "Heartfelt Verse" stamp set.  I then heat set the sentiment, die cut it and adhered to the card.

This is my card for Day 11 of #thedailymarker30day colouring challenge.

The elephant is part of a Hobby Arts Ltd clear stamp set called "Indian Summer", stamped in Versafine Clair ink.

I've coloured the image with Distress Oxide Inks and Signo Glitter Pens.

Day 10 of #thedailymarker30day colouring challenge using a Woodware "Bubble Bloom Felicity" stamp

This is my Day 10 make for #thedailymarker30day colouring challenge.

I've used a Woodware Stamp called "Bubble Bloom - Felicity JGS290", stamped in Versafine Clair "Shady Lane" and "Morning Mist".

I have painted the leaves using three shades of Distress Oxide Inks:  Crushed Olive, Peeled Paint, and Mowed Lawn.

I've used a purple and a silver glitter coloured Signo Pens for the bubbles which I covered in "Glossy Accents".

The sentiment is by "Lawn Fawn" part of their "Simply Sentiments" stamp set, stamped in Versafine Clair "Monarch" purple ink.
