Lavinia Stamps "Easter Bunnies" card

I made a little Easter card using an assortment of Lavinia Stamps and one of their stencils.

I stamped the "Forestcap Toadstool" in Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink.  I then stamped the "Midnight Meandering" bunnies stamp in Verafine Clair "Acorn" brown ink.

I coloured the background using a selection of blues and green shades of Distress Oxide Inks, applied with a paint brush. Over the top, I added detail using the Lavinia "Cryptic" stencil.

I coloured the toadstool using Derwent Inktense water colour pencils, applied with a brush.

In the background, I used the "Small Branch" stamp with Versafine Clair "Shady Lane" green ink, stamped in first and second generation stamping.

I used coloured pencils and Posca Pens to create the impression of flowers around the toadstool, using Van Goch Pastel Pencils for shadows.

In the foreground, I used the Lavinia "Foliage Set" to create the long grasses in the bottom corners of the card using Versafine Clair "Shady Lane" green ink.

I added touches of Ranger "Enamel Accents" to the toadstool and "Glossy Accents" on the flowers on the trunk of the toadstool.

Lavinia Stamps "Midnight Meandering" Easter Card

Today I've played with one of my older Lavinia Stamps to make this Easter card.

I didn't have an oval stencil, so made one myself by die cutting an oval in a piece of card to use as a stencil.

I used a selection of colours of Archival Inks (Pink Peony, Vivid Chartreuse, Chrome Yellow, Shadow Grey and Cornflower Blue) through the stencil to create the impression of Easter Eggs.

I stamped the bunnies, a Lavinia Stamp called "Midnight Meandering" with Versafine Clair "Acorn" Brown ink.

I stamped the foliage in the background using the Lavinia Stamps "Foliage Set" with two shades of Versafine Clair ink:  Shady Lane and Verdant.

I used a Derwent Inktense pencil to add extra green below the bunnies and used a gel and Posca pen to add extra deail like the flowers.

Hobby Art Ltd "Spring has Sprung CS121D" Easter Card

Well it is Good Friday, I have no idea where this year is disappearing to!

This morning I remembered an Easter stamp set I have in my stash, that rarely gets used, so decided to make an Easter card.

I have used the Hobby Art Ltd clear stamp set called "Spring Has Sprung CS121D".  I have stamped the image and sentiment with Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink. I have used Distress Oxide Inks (Tatterered Rose, Weathered Wood, Scattered Straw, Tea Dye and Picked Raspberry), applied with a paint brush.  I added extra detail using a white gel pen and a 2B pencil.

Card-io Majestix Easter Card

It's the first of April, my first "Hot Cross Bun" has been eaten and Easter isn't far away, so I decided to make an Easter card.

I have used four sets of Card-io Majestix stamps to create this card:  Basket & Bows, Eggstra Special, Winter View and Freesia & Violet sets.

I have stamped in Versafine Clair and Memento Inks, using Distress Oxide Ink for the mottled background shade.

Easter Nest Card

I made a quick little Easter card last night using a stamp from the Stampin' Up "Nature's Nest" set, coloured with Promarkers.
