Funky Fossil Winter Wonderland Tag and Black Friday Discount Code

I made this tag using a manilla coloured tag, sprayed with "Peeled Paint" and "Faded Jeans" Distress Oxide Spray paint.

Once dry, I started my stamping, starting with the script on the left hand side, which is part of the Funky Fossil "Musings" stamp set, stamped in "Warm Breeze" Versafine Clair ink.

I then moved on to stamping the forest/trees, using Versafine Clair "Shady Lane" green ink with the Funky Fossil "Winter Wonderland" stamp set.

Next I stamped the stag, and the bird, both are part of the Funky Fossil "Winter Wonderland" stamp set, using Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink.  I then inked the edge of the tag in black ink.

Finally, I grounded the stag and added some grasses to the bottom right of the tag by painting Distress Oxide inks in several shades.  I used a white Posca pen for the stars.

Funky Fossil "Banners and Bunting" Card

I made a quick birthday card yesterday using the Funky Fossil "Banners and Bunting" stencil, with "Wilted Violet" and "Picked Raspberry" Distress Oxide Inks.

The sentiment is by Hobby Art Stamps and is from their "Greetings from friends" stamp set.  Stamped in Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink and heat embossed with Wow! clear embossing powder.  

I added a few dots to the pink bunting as decoration using a Signo Pen.

Lavinia Stamps "Tree Goddess Luna" Card

Sometimes things happen in life which make you adjust your course of action.  The same things apply to my crafting.  This is a "rescue project".

I had just finished my stamping of the card and was putting the ink pad away, when it slipped from my hand landing ink pad down on the card I had nearly completed!  Obviously there were a few "choice words" as I mopped up the inky mess on my desk ,where the pad had bounced across my desk, finally resting on my card!

I decided to cut off the main inky section and add a little extra foliage stamping to cover the remaining inky area.  In the end it worked out ok, but not what was in my head originally.

Incidentally, this is the process of making the card before the mishap:

I used "Bundled Sage" then "Mowed Lawn" and finally "Rustic Wilderness" Distress Oxide inks through the Lavinia Stamps "Laurel" stencil for the background.

Using Versafine Clair "Shady Lane" green ink, I stamped the Lavinia "Wild Vines" in first and second generation stamping to provide depth.  

I then stamped Lavinia "Tree Goddess Luna" in Versafine Clair 'Nocturne" black ink.  Using the same ink, I added more stamping of the "Wild Vines".  I lightly inked the edges of the card.

I added touches of sparkle using a silver Signo glitter pen and a subtle shimmer using a Sakura gelly roll pen.

Lavinia Stamps "Floral Wreath" thank you card

I am still struggling with a lack of crafting mojo, hence so few posts of makes on here from me.  However, I did make a card for friends who looked after Rosie our Springer Spaniel for the day, allowing us to visit our son and his family in South Wales for the day.

I used two shades of Versafine Clair Ink, "Morning Mist" and "Chianti" to stamp the Lavinia Stamps "Floral Wreath".  I coloured the berries using "Seedless Preserves" Distress Oxide Inks, applied with a paint brush.

I used a Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous sentiment from their "Saying Stuff" stamp set, stamped in "Chianti".

I then mounted the card on to a card blank and applied Ranger "Glossy Accents" to the berries for a 3D look and left to one side to dry over night.

Lavinia Stamps "Floral Wreath" Bookmark

I've been away in the caravan this past week, so there's been no crafting.  Instead lovely long autumnal walks.  Enjoying, the sometimes bracing weather with fresh air and mud!  We came home yesterday and the washing machine has been very busy since.  

Last night I had the urge to craft, so made myself a book mark using Lavinia Stamps.  I used the new Lavinia "Floral Wreath" stamped in two shades of Versafine Clair ink.  "Morning Mist for the lighter colour and "Medieval Blue" for the darker colour, I also used this shade to ink the edges.  

To colour the garland, I used one of the new Lavinia Element inks called "Blue Lagoon", diluted with water and applied with a brush.  

I used the Lavinia Stamps sentiment called "Once upon a dream" for the words, stamped in Versafine Clair, "Medieval Blue" ink. I coated some of the berries with Ranger "Glossy Accents" and left to dry over night. 

I then used a Stix2 PVC Bookmark sleeve to protect the art work, while in use.

Lavinia Stamps Floral Wreath - Thinking of you card

This weekend, Lavinia Stamps have had a crafting extravaganza in conjunction with the release of 14 fabulous new stamp designs.  Lavinia Design Team member Eileen Godwin gave a demonstration which inspired me to make this card.

I used "Victorian Velvet" Distress Oxide Ink through the Lavinia Stamps "Ivy Stencil", fading the colour out to the edges.

I used one of the new release stamps called "Floral Wreath", with Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink for the lighter stamping and then Versafine Clair "Nocturne" black ink for the stamping in black ink.

I coloured the berries using a paint brush and shades of one of the new Lavinia Stamps "Elements' ink pads in the shade of Merlot.

The stamped sentiment is part of a Personal Impressions stamp set called "Square Essentials", stamped in "Nocturne" black ink.

Finally, I added Ranger "Glossy Accents" to the berries, to provide a 3D look to the card and set aside to dry.  Once dry, I mounted the image on to a card blank.

Lavinia Stamps "Rufus" the fox card

Today, I received a delivery of my order from Lavinia Stamps, 14 fabulous new stamps and 12 new inks!  Obviously, I had to have a play!

I started by creating the background scene with a selection of Distress Oxide Inks some were applied with a blending tool and some with a paint brush.  I then set aside to dry.

Once dry, I started stamping the "Tree Root", then "Rufus" the fox, followed by "Brodwin" the owl and then the "Skeleton Tree Scene" In Versafine Clair inks.

I built up the foreground, using the "Mini Mushrooms"and "Willow".  Using Posca and Signo Pens for added detail. Finally, I added the "Let your spirit take flight" sentiment, stamped in Versafine Clair "Shady Lane" green ink.
