Lavinia Stamps November 2019 Monthly Challenge - Winter Wonderland
Every month, Lavinia Stamps have a monthly challenge. For November 2019 the challenge theme is "Winter Wonderland". You can enter up to five times. If your name is randomly drawn, you win £40 of vouchers to spend on lovely Lavinia goodies.
To make this card, I swooshed two shades of Distress Oxide Inks, "Tumbled Glass and Weathered Wood", I then added a touch of "Stormy Sky" to add some darker colours. I masked a circle shape and filled with "Mustard Seed" Distress Oxide ink.
I used Versafine "Vintage Sepia" to stamp the "Seasonal Tree" image. I used the torn edge of a piece of paper with "Weathered Wood" Distress Oxide Ink to create the landscape.
I painted colour to the tree using various shades of greens and brown Distress Oxide Inks. I then stamped the sentiment "Seasons Change", stamped in Versafine "Vinatage Sepia" brown ink. I stamped the "Birds" using Versafine Clair "Morning Mist".
I then stamped the "Small Reindeer" using Versafine Clair "Pinecone" brown ink. I added snowflakes and highlights to the card using a white Signo Pen.

DesignTeam make for the "My Time To Craft Challenge Blog" #408 Halloween or Cats
There is a new challenge theme on the "My Time To Craft Challenge Blog". Challenge #408 has a theme of "Halloween or Cats". If you have a minute to spare, please do pop over and take a look at the fab makes by my Design Team colleagues.
For my card, I used a selection of Distress Oxide Inks and Lavinia Stamps to create this image.
I started by masking off a circle and filling it with a blend of Antique Linen and Scattered Straw Distress Oxide inks. I then covered the circle with a mask and used a mix of the following shades of Distress Oxide Inks to create the sky colours: Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch, Worn Lipstick and Chipped Sapphire.
For the landscape I used Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, Crushed Olive and Forest Moss Distress Oxide Inks.
I used two shades of Versafine Clair ink throughout this card: Nocturne (Black and Morning Mist a grey shade).
I multiple stamped the "Lavinia Stamps Tree Branch". I then added one of the crows from the "Lavinia Stamps Crow Set", the "Lavinia Stamps Bats" and then the "Lavinia Stamps Seasonal Tree".
I then moved on to the lower section of the card by stamping "Lavinia Stamps Mooch The Cat", "Lavinia Stamps Meadow Mushroom", the "Mini Slender Mushroom" and "Lavinia Stamps Meadow Grass".
Finally, I added some tufts of grass using a black fine liner pen and also high-lighted areas using a white Signo Pen.

Gelli Plate and Lavinia Stamps - Thinking of You Card
I recently watched an on-line tutorial by Tracey Dutton of Lavinia Stamps, where she was making backgrounds using a Gelli Plate, Colorbox Inks and Brusho paints. I had to have a go, it was messy, but I loved each unexpected result. It's definitely something I will be doing again.
I decided which background I would use and without any real agenda, looked at my Lavinia Stamps to see which I thought would suit. I decided on the "Seasonal Tree" and "Midnight Meandering Rabbits"
I stamped the tree in Versafine Clair "Shady Lane" and the rabbits in Versafin "Olympia Green". I used a touch of Distress Ink with a moist paintbrush to colour the land at the base of the rabbits and tree. Finally, I stamped the sentiment, which is by Hobby Arts Ltd.

Seasonal Heart Tree Card (Lavinia Stamps)
More Lavinia Stamps play today with this Christmas/wintery feel card.
I used two Lavinia Stamps for this card (Seasonal Tree and Small Reindeer), using a Versamark ink I heat embossed using Wow clear embossing powder, which I then heat set.
I masked a circle for the moon and then used blended Distress Inks for the background colours. I lifted the moon mask and added a little colour to it too.
I die cut the hearts and then stuck them to the card, drawing the hanging string with a pencil. I then used a Versamark pen and marked areas on the card.
I tore some clear paper and added it to the bottom of the card, to give the effect of snow covered ground. I then added some glittery embossing powder, which gave the card a frosty twinkly look. Unfortunately, the can not really be seen in this photo. Finally, I added a few snow flakes with a white Signo Pen.

Lavinia Stamps - Sunset Geese
This month, I seem to be on a roll with my creative makes. This card is my 5th and final entry into the Lavinia Stamps monthly Creativity Challenge for June on a theme of "Sunset Pinks". You can see all the entries by clicking on this link.
I used a brayer to apply Distress Oxide Inks. I then stamped the "Seasonal Tree" on the right hand side of the card and mirror image stamped the tree to the left by using a piece of acetate. I then stamped the geese.
I used Distress Inks, Promarkers and Signo pen to add shading and high-lighted areas.

Lavinia Stamps Seasonal Tree Sunset Card
When I first saw the Lavinia Stamps "Seasonal Tress - LAV382)" stamp, I knew I had to get one. I had an idea in my head that I wanted to try "mirror image stamping", so using this stamp seemed the ideal opportunity.
I started the background by layering Tim Holtz Distress Oxides, spritzing them. drying the piece and then adding another layer of colour. I don't know how many times I repeated the process. You could call it a labour of love. So much so that I was scared to stamp on it.
Fortunately, my fears were unfounded, as predictably the tree stamped perfectly in Versafine Ink. I used a sheet of acetate and stamped the image again onto that and quickly transferred it into position below the existing tree. I found a bone folder was handy to help push the image onto the card.
I then added the land section and the setting sun using Distress inks. I then used a second Lavinia Stamp "Birds - LAV097) to the side of the sun. I inked the edges of the card and added touches of white to the tree using a Signo pen, which I think gives it quite an eerie edge to it.
I've actually decided to enter this card into the June Monthly Challenge on the Lavinia Stamps site. The prompt for this month is "Sunset Pinks" so I think this fulfills the brief.
