Funky Fossil Black Friday Discount Code

A quick reminder that the Funky Fossil Designs, Black Friday Discount Code is valid till midnight (UK time) on Monday 30th.  You get a massive 25% off everything on site.  All you need to do is quote "FFBLACK25".

I made this card using clear embossing ink and Wow! clear embossing powder through the Funky Fossil "Something Fishy" stencil.

Once heat set, I used two shades of Distress Oxide Inks (Tumbled Glass and Peacock Feathers) to add colour to the background.

I then lay another stencil over the prepared background, this time the Funky Fossil "In the flow" stencil and used the "Mermaid Lagoon" Distress Oxide Ink.  Once I lifted the stencil, I rubbed over the surface of the fish bone area to remove and surplus ink.

On a separate piece of white card, I stamped the whale, which is part of the Funky Fossil "Whale of a time" stamp set, stamped in Versafine Clair "Blue Belle" ink and then covered in clear embossing powder then heat set.

I coloured the whale using an assortment of Distress oxide inks, applied with a brush.  I then used a silver glitter Signo Pen to add some sparkle to the whale.  Next I fussy cut the whale and adhered onto the prepared background.

I used a bubble stamp that came with a magazine to add some air bubbles, coloured with a silver and a white signo pen.

Finally, I used a sentiment from the Funky Fossil "Small Print" stamp set, stamped in Versafine Clair "Twilight" dark blue ink.

Funky Fossil Designs - 15% Valentine's Weekend Discount Code - Wild Things Card

It's Valentine's weekend!  It doesn't matter if you have a partner to send a card to or not, you can still enjoy 15% off any Funky Fossil Design purchases made between Friday 14th of February and midnight on Monday 17th February by quoting "HEART15".

I used the Funky Fossil "Wild Things" clear stamp to create this card.  I coloured a piece of cardstock with "Wild Honey" Distress Oxide Ink and then stamped the giraffe in Versafine Clair "Chianti" ink.  I stamped the same image onto a white card blank.  I then adhered the coloured giraffe onto the card.

I stamped the "Wild" sentiment using Versafine Clair "Nocturne" ink and printed and cut out the words "...about you!", adhering it below the "Wild Word".

I used the Funky Fossil "Whale of a time" clear stamp set for the little hearts above the giraffe, stamped in Versafine Clair "Tulip Red".

Funky Fossil Designs "Whale of a Time" and "Wavy Grid" Stencil Card

As I mentioned in my earlier post, I was up early, deciding to get crafting making a couple of cards.  This is the second card of the session using Funky Fossil Design products.

I used Tumbled Glass shade of Distress Oxide Ink through the Funky Fossil Designs "Wavy Grid" stencil.

On a separate piece of white card, I stamped the whale image (part of the Funky Fossil Designs "Whale of a Time" stamp set), stamped in a Wow! Clear Embossing pad.  I then used Wow! Embossing Powder in a Super Fine "Metallic Silver" shade then heat embossed till the powder had melted.

Once the image had cooled, I painted the whale using two shades of Distress Oxide Inks (Twisted Citron and Mermaid Lagoon).  I then cut around the edge of the whale and adhered to the bottom right of the card.

Using a Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" ink pad I stamped the sentiment which is also part of the "Whale of a Time" Stamp set.

(The small bubbles from top left to bottom right are a free stamp from an old magazine).

Funky Fossil Designs - "Whale of a Time" Stamps on "Wavy Grid" Stencil

I was up early this morning ready to have a play with ink and stamps, making these two cards using the Funky Fossil Designs "Whale of a Time" stamp set and "Wavy Grid" stencil.

I made this card, using Cracked Pistachio and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Inks through the Funky Fossil Designs "Wavy Grid" stencil.

On an off-cut of pink card, I stamped the unicorn whale, which is part of the "Whale Of A Time" stamp set, stamped in Versafine Clair "Monarch" ink which is a shade of purple.  The hearts and the sentiment are from the same set and stamped in the same ink too.

I cut around the pink and purple whale and adhered it to the middle of the card.  Using a gold shimmer Sakura Jelly Roll pen I added sparkle to the whale horn and also to some of the spots on her back.

I used a white Signo pen to the eye then added a dot of Glossy Accents over the top to give the eye a domed glassy look.  Finally, I added some sequins to the sea area for extra sparkle.
