Celebrate - Inkylicious Stencil Card

I had used the Inkylicious shell stencil with a Distress Oxide ink for a previous project, but while cleaning the stencil with a wet wipe, I had a piece of card below, the colour on the stencil transferred onto the white card giving a lovely shell pink colour.  This was too pretty not to use.  As I needed to make a congratulations card, I thought this would be ideal as the main feature.

I stamped the Spellbinders (STP-004) in a brown Versafine Clair ink called "Acorn".  Then mounted the cut down image onto brown and then a similar coral shade of card.

Finally, using a Sakura Gelly Roll Pen in a soft glittery gold shade, I went around all the edges of the shell image.  It doesn't show up very well on the flat photograph, so I took a little video to show it to you.

Celebrate Card #laviniastamps

Sometimes inspiration strikes me at funny times.  Last night I had a thought about a composition for a card.  To remind me what I wanted to do, I got the stamps out and left them on my craft desk.  This card is the result.  A very clean and simple design that I feel works really well.

I stamped the Lavinia Stamps "Foxglove" and "Field Grass" in Colorbox ink.  The snail I stamped in Versafine "Stormy Grey" shade of ink.  I then gave a quick wipe with a paintbrush in a a grey water colour to replicate the ground.

Finally, I stamped the Stampin' Up sentiment "celebrate" from their "Weather Together" stamp set in Colorbox ink and added a few touches of silver glitter to the snail shell and the ground below it.

Purple Pixie Celebrate Card (Lavinia Stamps)

I've been playing with stamps and ink this afternoon, making this card using the following Lavinia Stamps:  Fairy Dandelions, Sacred Spells, Spanish Moss Foliage, Fairy Washing Line, Make a Dandelion and Birds.

I created the background using Distress Oxides and Pixie Powder in Violet/Purple shade.  I have heat embossed the dandelion wishes too.

Celebrate "Girlfriends" Card

I made this card with a friends birthday in mind, but I may keep it for another occasion.

I have used the Art Impressions "Girlfriends UMU3573" stamp, coloured with Promarkers.  The sentiment is from the Stampin' Up set called "Endless Birthday Wishes".
