Lavinia Stamps Hare new baby card

Isn't it funny.  You go ages without making a new baby card and then you hear of several due all around the same time.  I may roll out this design for future cards as it's a nice quick make.

I used an Indigo Blu red rubber stamp called "Square peg, round hole - SPRH" for the background circle with ""Tumbled Glass" Distress Oxide Inks.

I used the Lavinia Stamps "Whimsical Hares" stamp for the leaping hare design around the edge of the circle, stamped in Versafine Clair "Warm Breeze" teal coloured ink.

In the centre of the circle, I stamped a larger Lavinia Stamps hare called "Max" in Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink.

Using the "Warm Breeze" ink again, I stamped the sentiments, which are part of a stamp set by Personal Impressions called "Double Sayings".

Funky Fossil Designs "Festive Phrases" New Stamp Set Preview

Today I am previewing the final new stamp set from Funky Fossil Designs called "Festive Phrases".

For this card, I started by creating the background using four shades of Distress Oxide Inks (Speckled Egg, Stormy Sky, Faded Jeans and Chipped Sapphire).

In the lower area of the card I used the Funky Fossil "Christmas Tree Duo" stencil with "Evergreen Bough" and "Pine Needles" Distress Oxide inks.

I used the Funky Fossil "Leaping Stag" stencil with Versafine Clair "Acorn" brown innk.

I stamped the sentiment, which is part of the "Festive Phrases" new stamp set in Versafine Clair "Twilight" a dark blue ink.  Finally, I added some white snowflakes using a Posca Pen.

It's the final day of previews before the five brand new clear stamp sets are available to purchase from Funky Fossil Designs (1st August).  For this sample, I have used the new "Festive Phrases" stamp set.

Behind the sentiment, I have used a Funky Fossil stencil called "Christmas Star" with two shades of Distress Oxide Inks.  I have then stamped the sentiment in Versafine Clair "Twilight" dark blue ink.

Funky Fossil Designs "Elegant Ornaments" New Stamp Preview

Funky Fossil Designs are launching five fabulous new clear stamp sets this Saturday, 1st August.

I've made this card using the new "Elegant Ornaments" stamp set.  I heat embossed the star using Wow! Metallic Gold super fine embossing powder.  I then cut the star out and mounted it onto a piece of black card.

Using the same colour of embossing powder, I embossed the "Tis The Season" sentiment.

Funky Fossil Designs "Elegant Ornaments" New Stamp Preview

Just a reminder that Funky Fossil Designs will be launching five clear stamp sets this Saturday, 1st August.  This is a sample I've made using one of the new sets called "Elegant Ornaments".

I used a background I created a while back using a gelli plate and dilute Brusho paint splattered onto the plate.

I used the Funky Fossil "Holly Wreath New" stencil with a green acrylic paint applied with a finger dauber.  I used "Ruby Red" Liquid Pearls for the berries.

I stamped the "Elegant Ornament" in "Rainforest" Versafine Clair green ink,  I then cut the shape out and adhered into the middle of the card.  Using the same ink, I stamped the "Deck the halls" sentiment which is part of the same stamp set.

Funky Fossil "Christmas Characters" new stamp preview

Today I can share with you another card using the new Funky Fossil Designs "Christmas Characters" stamp set, which will be available to purchase from this Saturday 1st August.

For this card, I have used a sheet of paper from the new Funky Fossil 6"x6" paper pack called "Let it snow".  I have used two Funky Fossil stencils:  "Snow Flurry" for the snowflakes with a whisper white ink and "Festive Words" with Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink.

I multi stamped the fairy from the new "Christmas Characters" stamp set then cut them out using my Brother Scan n Cut SDX1200 machine.  I then painted them with "Spun Sugar" Distress Oxide ink and adhered them onto the background, as if they are holding hands, which created a snowflake shape.

Finally, I stamped the snowflakes and the "Believe" sentiment (which is part of the new Festive Phrases stamp set) in "Warm Breeze" Versafine Clair ink.
