Funky Fossil Stencil Storage

My Funky Fossil stencil collection has grown and grown.  It had got to the stage I was having to go through all the stencils, located in 2 x 2" bookrings (in plastic pockets) to find the stencil that I wanted to use, but no longer!

Yesterday I sorted them into lovely colourful A5 Ring Binder albums with plastic wallets. courtesy of a lockdown delivery from Amazon and my Brother label maker.

If you fancy doing something similar, here is the link to the
A5 ring binder albums I purchased.

Here's the link to the packs of 100 A5 Plastic Pockets I used.

I have sorted my stencils into the following albums, with dividers where needed:

  • General Background (five albums with space to grow)
  • Christmas / Halloween
  • Hearts / Love / Faces
  • Shapes (two albums with space to grow)

I rearranged some of the shelves in my "The Original Scrapbox" unit so that the albums are close to my working space too.

I'm really happy with this organisation, both the way it works for me and how pretty the folders look in my unit.

I'm thinking I may do the same for my other brand stencils and maybe move on to do the same with my dies too.

A New Craft Studio

Since June of this year, we have been having building work carried out at our house to create a craft studio to store my crafting goodies and provide a nice area for me to work in.  The room is  now complete and I am totally in love with it.  Here are a few images of it.

I've used Ikea Alex drawer units for below the work surface and Ikea Kallax unit turned on its side for storage below the windows.  I am fortunate to already have a Scrapbox work station (the one that looks like a wardrobe when closed), which works really well in this room.
