Thank You Card (Lovely as a tree / Stampin' Up)

I saw a photograph on a local photography group on Facebook that inspired me to create this card.

I used a base of brayered Distress Oxides and then topped it with Distress Inks.

I used the Stampin' Up "Lovely as a tree" set for the main tree image and Lavinia Stamps "Tree Scene" for the smaller trees in the distance.  The sentiment came free with a magazine a while back (all stamped in Versafine).

Week 14 - 52 Week Art Card/Tag Challenge 2017

The prompt for Week 17 of the 52 Week Art Card/Tag Challenge 2017 is "Trees & Leaves".

Time seems to have run away with me this week, so I have made a very simple tag.  For the trees at the base of the tag I have used a stamp from the Stampin' Up set called "Lovely As A Tree".  The stamp in the frame is also by Stampin' Up and is from their "Faith In Nature" set.

Trees At Dawn Card

This card has a background of blended Panpastels of assorted shades. I then used a stamp from the Stampin' Up "Lovely As A Tree" set. For the sentiment I used a word from the Stampin' Up "Endless Birthday Wishes" set.

The Tree At Dawn Tag

Being fortunate to live in such a beautiful area of outstanding natural beauty, I often see stunning colours at dawn & dusk.

This tag is inspired by the colours of dawn, replicated using Panpastels for the background.

The tree is from the "Lovely As A Tree", Stampin' Up set of stamps, coloured using my watercolour pencils.
